Twisted Fold Gift Card

Good Monday mornin' to ya peeps! Hope you all had a great weekend! Dan & I sure did, we ran a few errands up towards Marc's house & while we were in that area we called Marc & Sarah to see if they were going to be home so we could stop in for a short visit & of course see our precious Braelynn. Seeing her always brightens our day & makes us smile. We get to see her again Sunday when they come for Easter dinner...yeah!!! Wow, 3 weeks in a row, I love it!

OK, now onto my card for today. I needed to make 2 gift cards for my neighbors. If you read my blog, you know that last month we had a really BIG storm that brought down a very BIG pine tree right across our driveway near the street, there was no way we were going to get out until we had the tree cut up. My neighbor Ed (he had the saw) & our other neighbor Glen (they live on the right & left side of us) came to help us out the next morning & it was still snowing hard. Ed cut up the tree (just enough for us to get out of the driveway) & Glen & Dan rolled the logs (which were VERY heavy by the way) out of the way onto the side of the driveway. Then came back with their snow blowers & helped Dan with his snow blower, (compared to theirs his was tiny) to clear the driveway. As soon as they lifted the no driving ban Dan & I drove to Marcs house & stayed there till the electricity came back on at our house. We wanted to show our appreciation for their help so I made a card & put a gift card inside. We are so lucky to have such great neighbors.

Get Well Rainbow

Good afternoon Peeps!

Well Spring is not here yet for us...so sad! More snow coming tomorrow, but I don't think it will be much, will have to check with the weatherman later. Winter does not want to go away...I NEED Spring & warm weather!

Here is my card for today, a cute Get Well Rainbow. I used an embossing folder, cloud & rainbow die are from MFT. Hope you like it!

Grey Tie Birthday Cards

I love Saturated Canary Digi images, this one is called "Grey Tie". I just searched Krista's site & this digi is not there, she must have discontinued it but if you email her she might let you still buy it, I'm not sure but it's worth a try. She is one of my FAVORITE digital designers...she's AWESOME!!! You might just see something else you like as well.

This card I made for my niece Joyce who's turning 60 at the end of this month. It reminded me of her when she was younger, minus the tie of course. I have a picture of her & I at the beach sunbathing in our bikini's...yes I used to wear a bikini. Yep, those were the days, now it's only 1 piece bathing suits for me, hahaha!!! Old age does that to ya!



Card I made for a friend who loves 50 Shades of Grey...this card made her smile!
