Hi Peeps!

Sorry I'm so late with my post but I went shopping to pick out my dress for the wedding today & I'm glad to say that I have picked out a dress with the help of my daughter & friend Barbara! Yippee!!! I'm so glad that it's over, I had Jessica come with me today to pick between 2 dresses & then to pick the color. I got the Pewter/Silver, it's pewter (Dark grey shimmery chiffon)with silver shimmer. If you want to see the dress click here for the link & let me know what you think!

Now onto my card. Here is another soldier card that I made for Marc to send to Sarah's nephew. I made this one before I saw the card that Jodi made & liked her image better but this little Riley stamp is so darn cute too! Well this is a short post today I have lots to do. Have a great day everyone & take some time to stamp today! See you tomorrow.

Soldier Boy

Hi everyone!

Wow did I have a great day yesterday! We went bowling with the kids, Dan & I have not been bowling for about 25 years! We all had a blast, I'm writing my post on Sunday night so I'm not really sore yet but I know we are going to pay the price & be very sore for about a week. We used muscles that we haven't used for awhile but it was worth it to spend some time with the kids & have fun & this was my idea after all. Dan & I used to bowl in a league & we were really good back then, Dan did good but I sucked. Don't forget it's been a really long time for us, of course Marc being the competitor that he is practiced twice before our bowling date so he could beat us. He didn't want mom & dad beating him!!! Well Dan ended up beating everyone & Marc came in second, Sarah beat me twice & I beat Steve & Jessica. I think we're going to do it again in a couple of months so maybe Dan & I should practice!

OK on to my card. Here is "Hero Ian" the images that Jodi sent me the other day...I love how this card turned out! He's sooooo cute!!! I made this card for Marc to send to Sarah's nephew, he's going to love it!!!! When I showed it to Sarah & Marc they both said that he is going to be thrilled to get something like that from his Hero (Marc)! Thank you so much Jodi for making this possible by sending me these images. I will make a few more of these for future cards to send to him every once in awhile. I have another soldier card that I made him that I will post tomorrow, this time it's GI Jon a Riley stamp from Hanna stamps that I bought just before I saw Jodi's card & fell in love with her Hero Ian card.

Well have a great day everyone! Talk to you again soon!

Happy Mail!

Hi everyone!

Hope your all having a wonderful day! It's gorgeous here today, the sun is out & it's supposed to reach 60...wow Spring fever is here at last!!!

I just wanted to share 2 RAK's I received in the mail this week & they are so beautiful! The first one is a card from Jodi...isn't this card gorgeous, I luv it! I saw a card on Jodi's blog last week & fell in love with the stamp set & it was perfect for a card that I wanted to make for Sarah's nephew. This little boy loves my son Marc so much that whenever he sees a picture of a soldier (my son used to be in the army & was an Apache helicopter pilot) in the papers or magazines he cuts them out & sends them to Marc. So when I saw Hero Ian on Jodi's blog I asked her if she would send me a few images to make a card for Marc to send to Sarah's nephew & Jodi was glad to help me out & sent me a bunch. Thank you sooooo much Jodi I really appreciate it! You are a great friend kiddo & I can't wait to meet you someday soon, I hope! Anyway I made a card & it came out awesome & I will be posting that on Monday.

I also received a cute adorable card from my good friend Deb. She always manages to put a smile on my face with her remarkable cards! Thanks so much Deb & I sure hope you feel better soon, you are always on my mind. Extra special healing hugs to you girl!!!

Well that's it for today, as always thanks for stopping by my blog today. Have a great weekend!!!

My Spring Flower

Hi everyone!

Well Spring is here & the flowers will start blooming soon but I thought I would plant one of my own flowers right here on my blog for all of you to see how pretty it is & to give you a little bit of Spring Fever! I got inspired by seeing Elena's card the other day & knew I wanted to make one of these beautiful cards! You can find the template for this flower at Mirkwood Designs, it's called a Hexagon Petal Card & it's so much fun to make & so cute in real life. I used one of the images from the Lily & Billy stamp set that I won on Jen's blog. You can see a picture of that set in yesterday's post. I love this stamp set & it's perfect for little girl cards & this one was made for Sarah's niece in Virginia!

I ordered some little boy stamps from High Hopes Feb. 26th & I'm still waiting to get them, they said that they got bombarded with orders & don't have enough help & also they don't have stock on hand. They make their stamps as they get orders so that now they are so behind & said that they hope to get Feb. orders in the mail last week...but nothing yet! I'm starting to run out of patience here, I know that Canada's mail is slow too, so I'm giving them one more week before I email her again. Has anyone else had problems with this company? I'm a patient person but this is getting ridiculous, it's been almost 5 weeks & I don't even know if it's been mailed yet because I haven't gotten an email saying that it has been shipped. Sorry but I just had to vent today.

Have a great day & thanks for stopping by today!

Froggy's Get Well Balloon Bouquet

Good morning everyone!

This is a quick post again sorry, Dan & I are out for the day. Hope you all had a great weekend. I got together with a couple of good friends on Saturday (hi Celeste& Diane)& we talked the day away, had dinner & Celeste made some yummy chocolate dipped strawberries for desert. We had a very good time, it's been awhile since we've gotten together so we had lots to talk about.

Well onto my card, I made this card for Elena's son Sergei. Poor Sergei spent a few days in the hospital so I thought I would cheer him up with a cute little card just for him! He's doing so much better now & I'm glad to say that he loved the card! You all know how great it feels to receive some happy mail, it sure can lift one's spirits & put a smile on our faces! This was fun to make too & I used crystal effects for the water & I love how it looks.

Well that's all for today, talk to you tomorrow. Thanks so much for visiting me today I love your company! Have a great day all!!!

Remember Pull Toys?

Hi peeps!

Well it is a gloomy dark day here today, we are expecting some rain. Better rain than snow...I'm looking forward to some warm weather soon, I've had it with the COLD!!!

Here are two more cards that Pam & I made this weekend, isn't it so cute! Hi Pam! I came across this cute little card while I was blog hopping & fell in love with it & just had to make it. This card reminded me of the baby pull toys that my kids had when they were wee little tots! Do you remember those? I cased this card from Mary Beerman's blog, she is so creative, take a look for yourself, you will love her blog!

Short post today, I need to get some stuff done. I'll have one more card for you tomorrow that Pam & I made over the weekend, so see you then. Have a great day! Hope it's sunny & warm in your neck of the woods!

Have you ever made a Quilt?

Well now you can & it's super easy!!!

Hi everyone!

This is one of the cards Pam & I made last weekend, I love this card & it was so easy to make. I got the tutorial from Diana Gibbs. Click on the link & give it a try! I've made a few real quilts & let me tell you this one is sooooooo much easier!!!

Well I went shopping with my friend Barbara last night & I found 2 dresses that I love so now I need to get Jessica to go with me & decide which one & in what color. One of the dresses comes in lots of colors & the other one has 4 colors to choose from so this is going to be difficult! I need to see when Jessica & I can get together, like I said she is so busy so I need to go by her schedule. I can't wait to see what she thinks. I'm just so happy that I don't have to go to anymore stores!

That's all for today folks, have a great day!

This was the first card that I made, it needed something so then I decided to ink the edges on the other cards & I like it better.

Hanna Image Folder

Hello everyone!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!! Are you wearing green today, I am? Here is something I made for my friend Gina Wrona's birthday. She loves Hanna so I thought I would make her a folder & put Hanna & Bella images in it so she could make her own cards. I love this folder & use it often for gifts. I usually put images in it or I put four cards on one side & envelopes on the other side, makes for a great gift! I added some sparkle with DD of course, I luv that stuff! She received it yesterday & loved it!

Well Jessica just walked in to do Dan's hair so I'm cutting this short since I don't get to see her much anymore. Take care & have a great day!

Thank you cards for Jessica!

Hi there Peeps!

Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend, I sure did! Tomorrow I will be getting together with a good friend of mine & she is going to help me pick out some dresses for the wedding. I want to try a few stores, pick the dresses that I like & then have Jessica (my daughter) help me pick "The Dress" for the wedding. Tomorrow we will be going to David's Bridal after Barbara gets out of work. I have to do all the leg work myself & get a friend to go with me & help me choose a few of them because Jessica is really busy. She is holding down 3 jobs & has no time anymore. When she has a day that she can get together with me then we will go check out the dresses that I picked out & she can help me make the final decision. Sounds like a good plan to me!

Okay so on to my card, here are the Thank you cards I made for Jessica this month. Every month I make her a different set of "Thank you" cards to give to her hostesses for having a Tastefully Simple Party. She does this on the weekends. If you ever want to order something (you can place an order online through her site) here is the link Jessica's Tastefully Simple website, they have great stuff & it all tastes fantastic! Tell her that I sent you! I need to somehow get a button to link to her site & put it on my sidebar. Now back to the card, this card was so simple to make & I think it looks fantastic! Stamped the Thank you on the bottom left side & then placed the stamped flowers on the right & your done, easy peasy!!!

Well that's it for today! I will be showing you one of the cards that Pam (hi Pam!) & I made over the weekend. I can't believe we made 4 cards this weekend! Usually we just yak, yak, yak & don't get much done but this time I prepared ahead of time what we would make & I think that helped us to stay focused. Next time she is going to pick a card for us to do & I'll pick 4 others & maybe we can do 5!!! Have a great day & thanks for stopping by today!

I received a wonderful RAK last week from Denise & I was in awe after I opened the package! She has such talent & seeing it in real life well....it's so amazing! You continue to inspire me each day Denise & I thank you so much!

This little purse is so adorable & so beautiful! Denise amazes me with her talent, take a peek at her blog & you will see what I'm talking about, you will go back for more inspiration.

Look at what was inside in a little pouch...isn't this beautiful! Denise made this, she is so talented!!! This is going to look so pretty on my wrist & ears this Spring & Summer, I love it Denise, thank you so much!

We got a lot done, I will post those cards during the week & I also have something else to post but I have to wait a few days for that one, it's a birthday surprise & I don't want to spoil it before they receive it, hehehe!!! More Onesie's

Hi everyone!

I finally got enough nerve to try my hand at changing the look of my blog...how do you like it? I think I like it!!! I did it all by myself & even changed the size of things in my sidebar, wow I amaze myself sometimes! Hahaha!!! I decided to give it a try after seeing Teri & Jodi's blog, Jodi had the link to the website so I went & took a look & well the rest is history as they say, hehehe!!! Thanks Jodi! Also I can't forget to thank Deb the Creator of these backgrounds. Thanks so much Deb & you made the steps real easy to follow, even a computer dummy like myself found it so easy.

Anyway on to my cards. Here are the rest of the onesie's that I made last weekend.

Take care & thanks for stopping by today! Hope you all have a fabulous weekend. Tomorrow I'm going to a tasting with Marc & Sarah & her parents to taste some food for the wedding, should be fun.

Baby Cards

Good morning everyone!

I needed to make some baby cards for me, Jessica & Sarah so last weekend I decided to make baby dresses & onesie cards. I showed you the baby dresses yesterday so today I will post 3 of the onesie designs today & tomorrow I will post the other 3 & I will give you the card details tomorrow too! Today will be a short post because I have advance scheduled my posts for yesterday & today & don't have the details near the computer right now, it's really early Tuesday morning (like 2:30 am). I wanted to get this done before I went to bed because I won't have time to post in the morning before we go on our little mini get-away. To tell you the truth I haven't even written them down yet, sorry. I'm away & will return sometime later today. So I will be live for Thursday's posting so talk to you then. Have a great day & thanks for spending a little part of your day with me.

Good morning all!

Well we ended up getting about 8 or 9 inches total from this snow storm. I think we were pretty lucky compared to other parts of the east coast. I sure do hope we have seen the last of the snow, I want Spring please! I think we are all anxious for warmer weather!

Well anyway, did you like my title for today? Yep, I lied to ya! Hehehe!!! I have two more diorama cards, I hope your not sick of them yet! I forgot that I had these in my camera so I PROMISE that these are the last of them till maybe Christmas or maybe the Summer, I'll leave you guessing as to when the next one will pop up!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day everyone! Oh by the way stay warm!

Baby Dresses

Hi everyone!

It's been a long time since I last posted sorry, I've been chillin' & relaxin'! I was under the weather for a few days but I am now back to normal & ready to rock & roll!!! Hahahaha!!!!

Anyway here are a few cards that I made last week. None of these are my designs, I don't know where I got the picture for the first two cards that I made. I had a picture from way back when & there was no water mark on it, so if it's your design or you know who it belongs to let me know so that I can give credit to that person for inspiring me. I luv all 3 of these cards & had fun making them. The 2 piece dress came from a tutorial & template from Maria, thanks so much for inspiring me Maria, you are the greatest & inspire so many of us!
I'm so sorry but these pictures are a little dark, I have a few more pics that I took of cards that I'll be posting this week that are blurry & dark so bear with me it will get better. I adjusted my camera to take better pictures (I hope), Maria gave some hints on her blog the other day so I adjusted my camera to take close ups & clear pics so I'll see if that works with my camera...again I thank you Maria! I also bought a tent with lights to take pictures of my cards in bad weather. I don't know if I like it all that much because my pics seem to be darker than the natural light on my dining room floor. Well we will try it again soon.

Well that's it for today, have a great evening! Thanks for dropping by!
