Happy Mail

Hello peeps!

Well not too much going on here this week. I'm working on a few wedding cards for me & Jessica to give the bride & groom & will post those when I'm finished. I messed up the first one & tried to fix it but I'm not sure if I'll use it or start over (probably start over), so I had to walk away for awhile & take a break.

Look what I got in the mail a few weeks ago...I luv it! Teri sent me a thank you card & a cute little snowman stamp! I hope you take the time to go on over to her blog & check it out, you won't be disappointed, she's so talented & you'll get lots of inspiration from her! Thanks Teri & so sorry it took me so long to post it.

For the next two weeks I'm relaxing & going tanning & doing all those high maintenance things I need to do before the wedding & go to the seamstress to get my dress. Quick post today sorry. Have a great day & thanks for stopping by today! Things will get back to normal soon.

Soooo cute, I luv it!!! Thanks Teri!

A Peek at what I've been Doing...

Hi Peeps!

I just had to share a little sneak peek with you all. This is what I've been doing for the last 5 or 6 weeks! I will have pictures of the favors & actual program folders after the wedding. So stay tuned for that. I will be going over to Marc & Sarah's later today to bring everything over there & work on the last of the picture frames for the tables & also to work on putting numbers of the tables on each favor. Tell you more about the favors soon. Well that's it for today, thanks for stopping by & have a great Sunday!!!

Folders waiting for the assembled fronts to be put on.

Assembly line...getting ready to assemble the front of the folders. Way too many layers but they are so beautiful! Inside folders are already done, after I assemble the fronts I have to put 1388 pearls on these babies!!!

There are 82 folders completed in this bin that I will be taking to Marc's house today. I ran out of pearls for 8 more folders that I have to do. Now I have to sit & wait to get them in the mail this week so that I can finish. I saved 2 folders, 1 for me & 1 to put in their wedding scrapbook. I made a total of 92 folders. Whew...glad that's almost done!

Frames with Table numbers on them. I still have 8 more to do later today at Marc & Sarah's house.

Second Wedding Folder Reject

Hi Peeps!

OMG Sandi & I had a blast Wednesday working on the wedding favors! We did lots of talking too! Sarah just has to write the table numbers beside each name label & then I can attach the ovals to the favors & we're done...the belly bands on the boxes are done & just waiting for the name tags. Thanks sooooooo much Sandi, I really appreciate it, your the BEST!!!
Sandi had me cracking up when she was using the ATG gun (she never used one before) & she got better with time but when she finished her hand felt sore & red...she was pressing too hard! It takes practice girlie...we've all been there, hehehe!!! Now I'm FREE to work on just the folders & I'd say I'm about 65% done. I hope to finish by next weekend. Thank God all of the cutting is finally over with...that was tough on my back because I don't know about you but I have to stand when I'm cutting. I have 50 more folders to finish the insides of, then I will be putting the fronts together & I need to put Metallic paste around my focal image layer (like on this top layer of this folder with the branch). I can't wait for you to see it & tell me what you think but it has to wait till after the wedding...we don't want any guests seeing it...well Sandi got to see it & loved it!!!

I'm going to be a little lopsided for awhile unless I can find a way of working out on my left side....all that cranking on my cuttlebug ya know what I mean?! I got some workout boy with all those layers, hehehe!!!

So here is the other rejected folder, don't forget I didn't have any wedding paper so I had to improvise with what I had. I found this green paper that I had & went with that knowing of course that was not really going to be in the folder...we needed to look for something more elegant. So, Sarah took a Little from this one & a little from that one, took some elements out & well....you'll see the final results soon! That's it for today folks, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend & I'll talk to you again soon. I need to get back to work! Ta Ta for now!

I changed the main image & the inside (which had a wedding poem in it) so that I could give it to someone. I didn't want it to go to waste...I hope she likes it!
This folder has crystals on it.

Bella wants to Style your Hair!

Mornin' everyone!

Wow, I'm starting to stress out, I need 3 more sheets of MM Pearl Swirl I Do wedding paper & I really don't want to have to pay $8. for shipping for a $3. purchase but I will if I have to, yikes! I'm trying to see if a local scrapbook store can get it for me (I bought their last 10 sheets originally, then ordered the rest online from 3 different companies & cleaned them out)but the girl has not gotten back to me & I need to order it by Monday in order to get it on time. I still have sooooo much cutting to do before I can even think about putting the folders together, that's the easy part. I will be getting ready to go to my favorite stamping store Bella Art in Johnston R.I., that's about a 45 minute drive from me, they called yesterday to let me know that my other paper & ribbon came in...so I'll be off to pick that up. I also want to stop by the salon where Jessica works to drop off her gift & I have a few more errands to run so I'll be out till the middle of the afternoon. When I get home I will be working on the folders again, I wish I had you girls helping me...that would be fun!

Anyway, here is the card I made for Jessica to go along with the picnic basket. I saw this Bella & thought, I just have to get it for Jess, it was perfect since she is a hair stylist! Isn't she cute with her scissors & hair brush? I also bought the one with her under the dryer & the one of Bella in a towel holding a hair dryer.

Well I'm off to take a shower & get ready to go pick up my order. It doesn't look good out there, looks like we are going to get some rain today...GREAT just what I like, driving in the rain...well I guess its better than driving in the snow, right? Have a great day everyone!!!

Picnic Anyone???

Mornin' peeps!

I took a break from wedding projects this weekend to create this adorable cute little picnic basket for Jessica...isn't it so cute?! I luv how it came out. It was so easy, this is a Lauren Meader Template that you can get over at PTI, she makes all her templates so easy to follow & when you download it to your computer you also get the instructions & some ideas as well. I have a few more of these templates that I hope to make in the future. If you need some inspiration please go over to Lauren's blog & be prepared to be dazzled by her talent, she is so amazing!

I also made a card to go along with this basket gift but I'll save that for tomorrow. I luv the color combo of this project, Jessica loves Pink so I think she's going to luv it! What do you think...do I have a winner here in my daughter's eyes?

Well no rest for the weary, I need to get back to work. Talk to you soon, have a great day!

Image Folder

Good morning Peeps!

Well here is one of the rejects from the wedding folders that I had Sarah choose from, I re-designed it a little to give as a gift with stamped images. I really did not like the liquid pearls for this because they did not come out perfect & you all know me, it has to be perfect or I'm not happy! I could not see me doing 90 folders with all these imperfections so I ordered the self adhesive pearls for the wedding folders ( a little more pricier (is that a word?) but I got a good deal on them), I needed 1000 pearls. On the other folder that I made as a sample she liked some of the elements (I had rhinestones on it but she wanted pearls & that's OK 'cause I want her to have what she wants) on that one as well. Anyway we took some elements from this folder & some from the other folder & you will see the results when I'm finished & ready to post my wedding projects soon. Remind me never to add multiple layers when creating in bulk!!! Sooooo much work but it will be worth it in the end...my family is well worth the effort & Sarah is now part of my family! I love her like she was my own daughter. Poor kid is starting to get stressed out, I hope she takes the time to relax before the wedding.

Sorry I got sidetracked with talking. I didn't have any wedding paper to put inside so I just used what I had & told her to visualize something more elegant that we had to go shopping for & let me tell you we found some great paper! Again I got sidetracked, sorry. I changed the front panel (the original had Our Wedding Day with their names & date of the wedding) and put the flower branch from Eastern Blooms, I also added the blue layer. The inside right panel had a wedding poem which I changed to add some sentiments, inside the pocket had a layered panel with the names of the wedding party & so I put the stamped images in the pocket. I love the way it came out & I got to use it as a gift so it did not go to waste. I hope my friend likes it!

OMG wait till you see what I worked on this weekend...I love it!!! I needed a little gift for Jessica's birthday so I made something awesome, I hope she likes it! Even though I gave her gift to her already I always have to have something to give her with her card so you will see that tomorrow or the next day. It's cloudy today so I can't take a picture of it yet, maybe tomorrow! Well thanks for stopping by & I hope you have a great day!

I won some Blog Candy!

Hi everyone!

I'm making some progress with my wedding projects but it is slow going because there are so many layers to cut & emboss but I'm getting there...not much time now so I really have to hustle! Waiting on a few things to come in still but I'm keeping busy. I still have to make Jessica's card & a little picnic basket for a small gift that I'm giving her since she already got her birthday gift last month. I bought her a Jessica Simpson White purse & she only had 1 month to use it before she has to put the white away till next year that's why she got it early.

I'm having a reaction from a Tetanus (Tdap) vaccine that I had last Wednesday. My arm got itchy while taking a shower yesterday & I got a rash, thought nothing of it for a few hours but while driving to my daughter's salon I noticed it swelling a bit & its sore. When I got home I called the nurse from Blue Cross & she couldn't figure it out but told me to keep an eye on it & take Advil. It looks the same today no better but no worse, I figured I would wait till tomorrow to see how it is then decide if I should call my doctor. I may call anyway just to let them know that I had a reaction. I can't believe it took 1 week to have a reaction, it has to be from the shot because its only on that arm where the shot was given. Anyone else ever have a delayed reaction to something. I'm feeling fine otherwise. Well we shall see tomorrow.

I'll have a few things to post that I made this week that were non wedding related so stay tuned for that. That's all folks, have a great evening & thanks for stopping by today!

This ribbon from SU is so pretty, I love the new in-colors! Thanks Deanna! Go on over to her blog she is Super talented & so inspiring!
