Goodbye tension...Hello pension!!!

Good mornin' peeps!

Well today's project was something Dan asked me to make for his boss's retirement party, so I sat at my desk & thought of what she might like & came up with a box of all occasion cards. I remembered that Deanna had a box on her blog that I liked & the size she made is perfect for A2 size cards. Once I found it again I went upstairs to work & made the box first, then a few days later made the top of the box along with the 2 sympathy cards to match the box. After that I set out to make a few more cards along with some cards that I had in my stash. Then I made her retirement card, I've made this card before & love this image & card design...it's my go to design for retirement cards (unless it's for a male, then I will have to come up with a different image & I have a few in mind, hahaha!!!) Dan told me that she loved it! That made me a happy crafter! Don't you love it when people appreciate your work?

Thanks for joining me today, you know how much I love your company! Have a great day!

This box fit 10 cards. This box was created by my good friend Deanna, click HERE for her tutorial...she's amazing! Thanks Deanna!

I made 2 sympathy cards to match the box.

I put 10 cards & envelopes in the box - a mixed set of birthday, wedding, sympathy, baby, get well, etc.

Fold a pocket in the napkins & place utensils inside & decorate

We see Braelynn tomorrow...oh my I'm going to miss her sooooo much. I told Sarah she has to send me a picture every day so I can see that cute little face. I won't be posting for awhile but have some scheduled posts to start the day after the wedding with Kim & Jack's wedding invitation & all the samples that got rejected (I will have 5 parts for that), I hope to stop in every once in a while if I can & post a picture from Maui.

To my Hawaiian friends: so sorry I won't have time to fly over to Oahu to see you & I'm so disappointed about that but I will leave you a message on FB Sunday about my layover in Honolulu.

Well onto my project, Jessica's birthday was yesterday & I made this cute little box for her. Hope you like it.

Pink Tissue Paper Topiary

Good mornin' Peeps!

Well I had a blast Wednesday making this topiary & it was real easy & fun to make. My friend Sandi came to help me out & she made some of these cute tissue paper flowers with me. Took a one on one class with Sandy (yes, they are both named Sandy but different spelling) from Bella Art & she showed us how to make them. It came out soooooo beautiful. Then we stopped over my son's house to give it to Sarah & I put it in Braelynn's room & took a few pictures. Not sure if is too big for her room but if Sarah wants a smaller one or a different color pink I will make another one. She will give it a few days & if she decides its too big I'll make another one when I get back from vacation.

Have a great day everyone & thanks for stopping by!

Here it is sitting on top of Braelynn's bureau...I love how it turned out.

Bella Art always takes a picture of you & your finished project for the store gallery & their FB page...here I am with my Pink topiary. Real easy to make.

Memory Board & a Baby pic

Good morning peeps!

I hope you all enjoyed your long weekend, we sure did! We got to spend time with Braelynn, Marc, Sarah & Jessica (poor Steve was under the weather, so he stayed home) & I have a picture at the end of this post for you, let me know what you think! I get to see her again tomorrow because I'm going to my fav stamp store to make her a tissue topiary for her room...I'll make sure to take a picture so you can see it. Since the store is next to their house, I'll be dropping by to give it to Sarah. My friend Sandi (Hi Sandi, I just LOVE that you moved back here) will be going with me & we will get to babysit while mommy runs a few errands, yay! Oh it feels soooo good to be needed again, I LOVE it! Spending time with Braelynn & Sarah makes my day & I don't mind the drive at all, it's really relaxing & gets me out of the house.

Here is my project for today, these memory boards/appointment frames are so easy to make & a great gift idea. Have a great day & thanks for stopping by!

Click HERE to get more info on this project. This one was made for Jessica & I just realized I forgot to stamp the corners...darn, I'll have to get it back so I can do that, I guess I was in a hurry & forgot. Oh well, she'll forgive me.

She's soooooo beautiful...I love this picture! I know I say that about every pic...get used to it!

Baby Shower Projects – Last Project

Happy Monday Peeps!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend, it sure was a hot one.

Today’s project is a gift I made for Sarah. I got this idea from my good friend Corinne & Sarah LOVED it! Thanks Corinne!!!

What a great gift to give to a mom-to-be or even a Bride. Make them some “Thank you” cards, put return address labels, stamp images on the envelopes & put postage on the them (I brought one over to the post office to see if I needed extra postage & of course I did, I made 6 1/2 X 5 inch cards)...so now all Sarah has to do is write out the card & put their address on the envelopes & she’s done...what a time saver, ha?! I decorated a clear paint can that I got from Michael’s & I was good to go...makes for a beautiful presentation! Image is a Digital image from Mo Manning called Babygirl. What do you think? Go on...go give it a try, they will surely appreciate it, I promise!!! Leave me a comment & let me know what you think, I would love to hear from you. I really miss the comments, so please show me some love by leaving me some comments to read.

Thanks for dropping by, have a great day everyone!

Thank you cards for Sarah

Envelopes with stamped images, postage & address labels (can't see address labels in pic)

Baby Shower Projects - Part 4

Good mornin' Peeps!

It's going to be another hot one today. We are going to Marc & Sarah's to spend the afternoon at the pool & keep cool!

Here is Part 4 of my baby projects...hope you like & I hope I can give you some inspiration today. I have 1 more baby project to share with you & then we will move on to other things. Have a great weekend!

PS: Is it just me or is Spellcheck not working on Blogger???

A box I altered for these cute little closet hangers. Put them away in the box till the next baby arrives, if it's a boy I'll make blue ones next time. I love it...it's so stinkin' cute!!!

These are for the closet to keep those adorable clothes organized by size.

Remember the TY craze from years ago....well I was a crazed collecter, yep that was me & I'm proud of it! Well, I bought a few of these storks when the craze was over & they were selling them really cheap, I wanted them for future baby showers. I love how they look on packages...you all know how I love to dress up my gifts. The closet hangers are inside along with lots of other goodies.

Cruise anyone???

Good mornin' Peeps!

Like my title? Well it's a hint to let you know what else I've been working on lately. Jessica is going on a New Kids on the Block Cruise next month...don't ask, she's been obsessed with the band ever since they came back on tour & Donnie Wahlberg came on a TV series (Blue Bloods). The big VIP fans (yes she's one of them) call themselves....wait for it...Blockheads!!! It all started when she was about 10 years old & New Kids hit the music industry, she had to have everything New Kids, she was in Love with Donnie back then & it never ended. She had night shirts, towels, bed sheets, posters, you name it she had to have it & of course being the mom that I am, I bought it for her. Anyway, back to my project. She asked me if I could make some post-its with pens for the cruise since they won't be able to use their phones (OMG...nooooooo)on the ship to keep in touch. This way they can write a note & leave it on their cabin door to let their friends know where they are & where to meet up. Could I PLEASE (the magic word)come up with some sort of design with a cruise ship on it. It took me awhile to find the ship that I liked but I finally did, thanks to my fave stamp store Bella Art...thanks again Maryann! Jessica & her friends love them & so mom is a hit once again! I love it too!!!

Here's a picture of when she met Donnie...dreams do come true if you wait long enough. I love this picture!

Have a great day & thanks for dropping by & spending a little part of your day with me!

Made 12 of these for Jessica & her Blockhead friends for their cruise.

The stamp I got from my local stamp store (Bella Art) it's by A Muse, Musical Notes are MFT dies, I composed the wording on my computer, printed & spaced it out a few times on my card stock, then stamped the ship, colored with copics & cut them all out. I used various DSP, Post-its & the little pens I bought from Staples.

Post-it Notes

Good morning peeps!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with family & friends, I know we sure did!

I had an order from one of my daughters clients, she asked me to make her a few post-it note holders to give to her nieces a few days before Christmas & she wanted a wine glass or something like that on it...so I came up with these two images & I didn't know what color she wanted so I gave her 3 different colors & 2 different glass drinks to choose from & she loved them! Another client bought 1 of the ones that was leftover, so I think I have 2 left for my stash (I'll find out about that when I go to the salon). I have to say I did very well selling my creations at the salon & I need to thank Missy (salon owner) for letting me & other vendors sell our wares there...Thank you so much Missy, I appreciate it so very much!

I put some crystal effects on it so it would look more like a glass. I love that stuff!

Thanks for joining me today; you know how much I love your company!
