First Birthday!

Hello peeps!

It's a beautiful day today & I'm getting ready to get my hair done in a little while so I thought I would post & show you a card I made for Danielle's daughter Sydney's first birthday. Jessica asked me if I could make her a card for Sydney & of course I said yes & knew right away which stamp I wanted to use. I love how it turned out.

Well I only have 1 more gift to buy & I'm done shopping. Yippee!!! I need to get my butt in gear & get my tree & decorations up, I hope to do that this weekend & also wrap my gifts. OMG, I still need to make Christmas cards, I have not even made 1 yet....bad me!!! My cold really took a toll on me & I have not created anything since the week of Thanksgiving. My blog surfing has taken a back seat as well, I need to catch up with all of your blogs soon, so sorry. Well that's it for today, I hope you all have a wonderful day & thanks for stopping by & visiting with me. Talk to you soon.

Puppy Love or First Kiss?

Good morning!

I escaped into my craft room yesterday (to shake off the blues) to make two cards, yippee!!! I need to start making 3 cards each time I sit down to create cards because I need to fill some tins that I will be making & filling up with all occasion cards for the year to give as Christmas gifts. Now is as good a time as any to start & get a heads up on those Christmas gifts...right?

Are you getting sick of Sarah Kay yet??? I have one more image you haven't seen here yet, so hang on! I promise I will make other cards soon! When I was uploading my cards I noticed a mistake once again on the second card, can you see it? When putting down my DP I ended up putting it upside down, dah!!! Oh well, don't tell anyone, OK??? Hehehe!!! The first card is fine! :o)

How do you like my sentiment? Pretty neat hah? I got this idea from Ashley, oops, just checked her video for the link & I did mine a little different but that's ok, I'll remember for next time. Take a peek you might want to try it!!! Thanks for stopping by today, have a great day!

Little Girl & her Teddy

Hi everyone,

Hope you had a great day. I just went out to get my hair colored & trimmed (no more long hair) today at the salon where my daughter works. Jessica always does such a great job with my hair, I luv this new hair style! I'll have to get a picture of myself soon & change the one that's on my blog. OK, on to my card!

I just luv these Sarah Kay stamps, I can't get enough of them! This one is of a little girl & her teddybear. Do you remember how much your kids loved their teddy's? My kids would not to go to bed without their teddy, I can't tell you how many times I had to sew Mark's teddy, especially his feet! This stamp reminds me of those days & I luv the sentiment I picked for this, it says it all!!! I still have a few more of these Sarah Kay stamps to color & make into cards so stay tuned for more & when Pam & I get together again (when my SU order arrives) I'll have some different cards to share with you. I want to try my hand at something new so I'm printing some tutorials from SCS & other blogs as well of cards for us to make together. I can't wait, I've already picked 3 card styles for us to work on Pam!!! Well have a great evening & thanks for stopping by today.

Girl on a Bike...

Hi everyone!

Sorry I haven't been posting much lately but life gets in the way ya know. I figured I would post before going to the doctors today, don't worry it's just my semi annual check up & I need to go for a blood test first so I can't even have my COFFEE this morning...ugh!!! I can be a bear without my COFFEE!!! I have been blowing off the blood work for a looooooong time & she is quite mad, so I figured I better do it today, I always had the wedding as an excuse but can't do that anymore, hehehe!!! By the time I remember that I need to go for my blood test I have already had coffee so that day is blown to bits & then I forget about it, it's not like I go into that city all the time...I rarely go there, usually only when I have a doctor's appointment or just drive by it. So I know I'm going to hear it from her today, she's not going to be too happy with me. I probably won't get my COFFEE till after my doctor's appointment after 1:30 that's a long time to go without COFFEE!!! Oh well!

I love Sarah Kay stamps, these images are so beautiful & easy to work with & color! My good friend Jen sells them in her store called "Little C's Stamps n' Things", I just pre ordered a few of the Christmas ones, their beautiful! Pop on over there & take a peek she has some awesome stuff! You will be seeing a lot of these stamps in the coming days, I will try to mix it up a bit for you. The background of this card I learned from a few other stampers in blogland who have used this technique & thought I would give it a try. I love it!!! I inked one side of the textile embossing folder & ran it through my cuttlebug & its awesome. If you flip the folder over so that the cuttlebug words are facing down ink that side this time then run it through the cuttlebug the same way, words on the bottom...it gives you a whole different look, I used very vanilla cs for this card. By the way don't forget to wash the folder when your done so that it doesn't stain, it comes out looking new again. Give it a try. Hope you like it!

Well that's it for today, I hope to post blog candy later or tomorrow, the picture is taken & just waiting for me to post, so stay tuned. Have a great day & thanks for stopping by today! Hope I didn't bore you too much about the NO COFFEE thing, Hehehe!!!
