Happy Wednesday Peeps!
It's raining here in New England...at least it's NOT snow! I feel a cold coming on, woke up at 5 AM today with a sore throat, feeling lousy & I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon but I think I'm going to reschedule that one.
Anyway on to today's project. I tried my best to get a good picture (you would not believe how many pix I took & this was the best one) my camera was really giving me a hard time with this project, no matter what setting I put it on it just was not co-operating, so sorry for the bad pix but I tried, I spent way too much time on it & finally gave up. I found this somewhere on the internet, there was a picture of this on a craft fair table on someones blog, I wish I could remember who's blog but in my surfing haste I forgot to get the name...so if it's yours please let me know so that I can link back to you & give you the credit. I made the picture bigger & got the poem, then I found the small manger on clip art & made that smaller so I could punch it out with a small circle punch. I just loved this idea & what a great poem to read to a young child & since the craft fair is at our church I thought that this would be perfect. Hope you like it. Here is what the poem says:
As you hold these candies in your hand,
and turn them, you will see…
The M becomes a W, an E and a 3.
They tell the Christmas story; it’s one I’m sure you know.
It took place in a stable a long, long time ago.
The E is for the East, where the star shone so bright.
The M is for the Manger, where Baby Jesus slept that night.
The 3 is for the Wise Men, who came bearing gifts.
The W is for Worship, Hallelujah, praise His name!
So as you eat these candies,
or share them with your friends,
remember the meaning of Christmas.
It’s a love story that never ends.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Have a great day!
