My 2012 Christmas Cards

Good mornin' Peeps!

Happy New Year everyone...I hope you all have a happy & healthy 2013!

I know, I haven't blogged much, I'm so sorry. I just haven't been in the mood to create much lately...I don't know where my mojo went so if you find it PLEASE send it to me. I only worked on things that I HAD to get done for the holidays, I made a few Christmas cards...sorry to those of you who usually get a card from me but maybe next Christmas I'll get back into the swing of things. Today I am posting the cards that I did make, there aren't many, I made about 12 cards to mail out this year, I know shame on me, so here are the designs that I made.

Come back tomorrow to see some awesome Gift card holders that I made for my kids, I gave them gift cards for a Date Night!

Thanks to those of you who stick by me & have been with me for a long time even though I haven't been blogging much lately. I appreciate you all so very much! See you tomorrow.

Christmas Cards 2011 Part 2

Hello peeps!

Well here are the last of this years Christmas cards. I wish I would have started earlier so that I could have used some of the stamps that I've had for 2 years & have not inked up yet. I'm making myself a promise to start my Christmas cards in June & make at least 10 a month, maybe this way I'll get to use them all up on cards for 2012...what do ya think? Is that a good plan or what? Now if I can really do it then I'll amaze myself, hehehe!!!

Thanks for taking a few minutes out of your busy day to come & visit me today, I sure do appreciate it!

One of my favorite Christmas cards that I made this year! It's a new Whimsy Stamp that I fell in love with this year & just had to have it! This card came out great...it's so pretty, if I do say so myself!

This little fella is a Whipper Snapper Stamp & he's one of my favorites!!! Snowmen & penguins are my favorite winter stamps...their too stinkin' cute, I'm obsessed!!!

I needed to come up with an idea to put lottery tickets in, (instead of those envelopes that you get from the lottery) so I came up with this idea. I should have put the DSP on the inside before I adhered the pocket, oh well, next year. I like how it turned out though. I saw Dawn's video for the Santa & used that for the front...he's so cute & I love his pom-pom!!! Dan loves getting scratch off tickets in his stocking every year, so I hope he enjoys my presentation! He'll be more interested in scratching than looking at the card...but I know he will comment & appreciate the card!

inside...I sure hope he wins something! He loves getting these in his stocking!

Favors for my guests who come to visit us this year. Got the idea to put them all in a basket from my good friend Sally (thanks for the idea Sally)otherwise I would have just made the ones for my family & put them on each place setting...but this is sooo much prettier!

The men are getting the snowman with the Patriot's hat for their favorite football team!

Have a fabulous Christmas everyone! Take it ALL in & enjoy your families & friends this holiday season! I love you all...Merry Christmas!!! See you again sometime next week.

Snowman Hershey Bar Wrappers

Hi everyone!

Here are some snowmen Hershey bar wrappers....aren't they so darn cute? I made these for the vendor fair & I love these little guys! Wouldn't you love to have one of these in your stocking, I know I would...I'm still a kid at heart!

This is not my idea, I saw the video tutorial created by Kerry here, so click on her name to see the video & get the wrapper digi from Laurie Furnell's blog...have fun creating these adorable snowmen.

I'm off to clean up my craft room (finally) since my guys made a mess on Thanksgiving day putting up rods & stuff on my wall. I need to finish up some gift card holders that I'm making for the vendor fair & don't have much time left, so I need to get off my butt!

Talk to you again tomorrow, thanks for stopping by & visiting me. Have a great day!

click on the picture once or twice, if you want a closer look.

Happy stamping!

Candy Purses

Hi there Peeps!

I wanted to show you a few things I made awhile back that is not card related. I made about a dozen or so of these purses to give to all the girls who work with Jessica at the salon. They all loved it & were so happy that I thought to make something for all of them. They are all such amazing ladies & their all so great at what they do. I just wanted to show them all a little appreciation.

Anyway, these are so easy & it only takes one 6x6 piece of paper with a few strips for the handles & top of the purse. Frenchie has a great video tutorial on how to make these darling purses...click on her name & take a look. While your there, look around...she's an amazing crafter & has lots of video tutorials.

Candy purse or put a lip balm inside...this is so stinkin' cute! Click on the picture to make it bigger & get a better view.

fits a small size candy inside

Made a few of these flowers in Aqua (my favorite color) to put on my NEW PC bag. First time making a fabric flower. Not perfect but not too shabby, if I do say so myself.

The flower looks good but I wish it was fluffier (is that a word, or is my spelling off? lol) but I don't know how to make one. I think the name of the company is Thirty One (home party type vendor, Jessica had a book party). I had bought this bag thinking I would use it as my laptop bag...but my laptop is a little too heavy. I have since bought another bag, a rolling business laptop bag, (that will be a Christmas gift from hubby) & yes, I buy my own gifts for hubby to give me sometimes. When I travel I'll be able to roll it & not have to worry about sore shoulders from a heavy bag. I'll use this one now for other things.

Have a great weekend! Thanks for stopping by & visiting today!

Candy Bags

Good morning peeps!

Today's project is candy bag holders, I hope you like it. This was a last minute project & I only made a few of these so that I could get rid of the rest of the candy kisses.

Just a reminder for all the local folks. The Christmas Fair will be held this Saturday Nov. 27th at St. Bernard Church, 30 South Main St., Assonet, MA. from 9 AM to 5 PM. I hope you can make it & drop by my table to say Hi & give me some moral support...I'm going to need it. Hubby is coming to help me out (he's the best) so we hope to see you there.

Have a great day & as always thank you so much for dropping by. I am so thankful for all of you who come by to visit & to those of you who leave comments, I luv reading them.

Happy Thanksgiving!

M&M Christmas Poem

Happy Wednesday Peeps!

It's raining here in New England...at least it's NOT snow! I feel a cold coming on, woke up at 5 AM today with a sore throat, feeling lousy & I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon but I think I'm going to reschedule that one.

Anyway on to today's project. I tried my best to get a good picture (you would not believe how many pix I took & this was the best one) my camera was really giving me a hard time with this project, no matter what setting I put it on it just was not co-operating, so sorry for the bad pix but I tried, I spent way too much time on it & finally gave up. I found this somewhere on the internet, there was a picture of this on a craft fair table on someones blog, I wish I could remember who's blog but in my surfing haste I forgot to get the name...so if it's yours please let me know so that I can link back to you & give you the credit. I made the picture bigger & got the poem, then I found the small manger on clip art & made that smaller so I could punch it out with a small circle punch. I just loved this idea & what a great poem to read to a young child & since the craft fair is at our church I thought that this would be perfect. Hope you like it. Here is what the poem says:

As you hold these candies in your hand,
and turn them, you will see…
The M becomes a W, an E and a 3.
They tell the Christmas story; it’s one I’m sure you know.
It took place in a stable a long, long time ago.
The E is for the East, where the star shone so bright.
The M is for the Manger, where Baby Jesus slept that night.
The 3 is for the Wise Men, who came bearing gifts.
The W is for Worship, Hallelujah, praise His name!
So as you eat these candies,
or share them with your friends,
remember the meaning of Christmas.
It’s a love story that never ends.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Have a great day!

Top Note Place Cards/Candy Boxes

Hi Everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I had Marc's in-laws Caroline & Stan here this year for Thanksgiving dinner & we all had a wonderful time. My son-in-law Steve was sick at home so he couldn't make it but we sent Jessica home with a nice plate of food for whenever he could eat it. Dan had been sick for 2 weeks trying to shake a cold & of course I came down with it on Sunday & fought through it while preparing for Thursday's festivities (cleaning house, cooking my famous stuffing, etc) but by Thursday evening I had lost my voice & my cold was taking effect with a vengeance. I got up early to go shopping with Jessica & Sarah but by 10 am I had had enough & wanted to come home. I slept on the couch for most of the day & night. I still have no voice & it seems to get worse at night. It's not the flu (Swine or otherwise) thank God but it sure does take a lot out of you whatever it is, hope it goes away soon, I hate to be sick!

Well here are the Top Note boxes I put on every ones plate with some candy inside, I put names on them so they all knew where they were sitting. They looked so cute waiting for our guests & everyone loved them! As you can tell by now I love making these boxes, so look out for the Christmas ones coming soon! You can find the tutorials for these on Tammy's blog but watch out their addictive!!!

Have a great day & thanks for stopping by today!

Back of the Male Pilgrim

Back of the Turkey. There was no version of the female Pilgrim so I made my own, using a Pilgrim female I had made years ago for scrapbooking with Creative Memories. It's not that great but it's not that bad either. If you come up with a good one I would luv to see it so drop me a comment with a link to your female Pilgrim.
