Mr. Fix it...Father's Day Card

Good mornin' Peeps!

We babysat Braelynn ALL day Saturday & we had a fantastic time with her...she's such a happy baby, always smiling! She's such a joy to be with, we LOVE her sooooo much. I have a few pics of her at the end of this post that I took that day.

Today I have a Father's day card for you that I cased after seeing this card on Amy's Prairie Paper Ink Blog awhile ago. The image is a Mo Manning digital image called "Mr. Fixit" & it's perfect for a masculine card. I LOVE her images...go on over & take a look at her wonderful images by clicking HERE. I had so much fun making this card using MFT tools die & I just love how it turned out. I made this same card in January for my son's birthday & he loved it! Hope you like it!

Gay Wedding Card

Good mornin' Peeps!

I hope all of you who were in our beloved city of Boston are safe.  I pray for all the victims & their families, this was a senseless attack.  Please keep these people in your thoughts & prayers today.

This card was a challenge for me but so happy with how it turned out.  I was asked to make a wedding card for a lesbian couple & this is what I came up with...what do you think?  The one woman was dressing in a black suit, shirt & tie (but I wanted to lightened it up a bit, too much black didn't look good), I was told she had a mohawk but I could not draw one on this face I had that I was told resembled her, so I went with short hair that was on this Hanna stamp (no longer in business).  The body is also a Hanna stamp but it was a business man in a suit that I thought would be great & just cut out both pieces & attached the head to the body.  Then I had two brides that resembled the the other woman who was dressing in a wedding gown & the woman I was doing this for liked this Saturated Canary bride that most resembled the brides face.  She loved the card & I can't wait to find out how the happy couple liked their wedding card.

Grey Tie Birthday Cards

I just searched Krista's site & this digi is not there, she must have discontinued it but if you email her she might let you still buy it, I'm not sure but it's worth a try. This card I made for my niece Joyce who's turning 60 at the end of this month. It reminded me of her when she was younger, minus the tie of course. I have a picture of her & I at the beach sunbathing in our bikini's...yes I used to wear a bikini. Yep, those were the days, now it's only 1 piece bathing suits for me, hahaha!!! Old age does that to ya!

Video Games Anyone???

I know it's been awhile, bad me. I just haven't been in the mood for creating, I think I lost my mojo but I needed a card for my son-in-law's birthday...so off I went to my craft room. I had seen this image over at Mo Manning's Digital Stamps awhile back & it reminded me of Steve when he plays his video games sometimes, so I just had to get it for his card. It was a success, he loved it & I loved how this card turned out.

Hope you had a great weekend! Well today's card is my all time favorite pregnant girl which is a digi image but the good news is that this image is one of the New images that will be sold as rubber stamps soon. She is a Saturated Canary image created by Krista & she is an amazing designer. I also bought some other images that she made so you will see lots of her images in the future...I love these girls!!! Baby Box Surprise

Good mornin' Peeps!

Today I have a cute little box I made with a little surprise for Sarah to open when we went over to their house yesterday to chill by the pool (my fav summer activity), & of course we LOVE being with Marc & Sarah. I bought these cute bibs (the duck bib says "Grandma gives the best hugs" & the other one is a plain yellow bib) that came wrapped to look like a cupcake & I found the cutest box tutorial to house them in...I loved making this box...it was soooo easy! The tutorial can be found HERE by Karli. I hope you give it a try, you will be happy you did!

Well our granddaughter makes her entrance into the world in 1 more month...wow, time sure did go by fast. I have a few more things up my sleeve for my cutie patootie & her mom & dad....so stay tuned. Baby Shower Projects – Last Project

Happy Monday Peeps!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend, it sure was a hot one.

Today’s project is a gift I made for Sarah. I got this idea from my good friend Corinne & Sarah LOVED it! Thanks Corinne!!!

What a great gift to give to a mom-to-be or even a Bride. Make them some “Thank you” cards, put return address labels, stamp images on the envelopes & put postage on the them (I brought one over to the post office to see if I needed extra postage & of course I did, I made 6 1/2 X 5 inch cards)...so now all Sarah has to do is write out the card & put their address on the envelopes & she’s done...what a time saver, ha?! I decorated a clear paint can that I got from Michael’s & I was good to go...makes for a beautiful presentation! Image is a Digital image from Mo Manning called Babygirl. What do you think? Go on...go give it a try, they will surely appreciate it, I promise!!! Leave me a comment & let me know what you think, I would love to hear from you. My Awesome Good News!

Good mornin' Peeps!!!

Did you have a nice Easter? I sure did, I had my kids & sister over for Easter dinner & we had a fabulous time! Grab yourself a cup of joe, sit back & relax, it's going to be a long post today. I have so much to tell you!

First, I have such AWESOME & exciting news...for me at least! If you follow me on Facebook then you already know some of my news but I have more to share with all of you today. Well, the exciting news is that I'm finally going to be a grandma!!! We found out a few weeks ago that it's going to be.......wait for it.....A GIRL!!! Yippee, we are ALL so excited...here's a pic of my little granddaughter at 19 weeks:



I think she's going to be a gymnast, if this ultra sound is any indication, hehehe!!!
The first ultra sound pic Sarah sent me I just cried looking at it...they were tears of joy though & I couldn't stop looking at the picture for weeks & yep, I cried every time. Thanks so much for letting me share my exciting news with you today.

Now onto my creative part of this post & the reason you stopped by today.

A card I made for Sarah. This digital stamp is from Saturated Canary. Isn't this the cutest image for a mom to be? I love it & knew I had to get it for Sarah & she loved the pickle on top of all that ice cream! Love you to pieces Sarah & your going to be a great & loving mommy! She is going to be one lucky little girl to be loved by such awesome parents, grandparents & so many family members!!!

Here's the card I made for Marc. This Digital image is from Mo Manning, I fell in love with this image the minute I saw it & knew I wanted it for Marc, he's going to be an awesome daddy! Love you Marc!



Altered box I fixed up for a little baby gift I got Marc & Sarah, just a couple of bibs that say Grandma loves you & spoiled by grandma & a onesie I found that said Grandpa's little girl!

Jessica & Steve brought me a bunch of tulips, my favorite flower, & some awesome desserts, their so thoughtful & sweet! I love you guys soooooo much!!! Marc & Sarah brought some yummy desserts too, so we had a sugar high going on over at the Santos house but they were soooooo good!
