Hi Ladies!
So sorry that I've been MIA lately, been a little lazy lately about making cards ;o) I guess I needed a break. I've made up for it though, I made 4 cards yesterday & will post them over the next few days so bare with me! I will be on & off for awhile & blog surfing when I can over the next month or two, we're getting closer to the wedding date & I have lots to do & need a kick in the butt to get me motivated. I think I'll be fine once I get all my supplies here so I can get to work, I'm still searching for a few things & it's driving me crazy!!! Until I find them I'm going to be a crazy person! They say size doesn't matter, ha! It does matter when you want perfection! Get your minds out of the gutter girls, I know what your thinking! Hehehe!!! I'm talking craft stuff here ladies!
Anywho, on to my card. I made this card for my SIL's birthday. I didn't want anything real fancy because she will just toss it, so I went for simple & no frills! This is good for her, I thought flower stamp 'cause we are all yearning for Spring! I cut out the front of the card with the nestabilities, glued that cut out to the inside of the card then layered with some Wasabi CS & the main image with a sentiment inside, added some ribbon & walla...card is done! Good enough, so I'm happy with it for a card that I know will be tossed. (she throws out all cards). She won't look at this so I'm good.
I'm going out with Jessica (my daughter) tomorrow to look for my shoes & she needs to pick up her veil then bring it back before the wedding to be pressed. She got the veil at another bridal salon. Then to the Country club to pick out the right pink ribbon for the chairs. Then go to Michael's & a scrapbook/craft store in Attleboro to pick out ribbon for charity cards & other stuff I need & hopefully stop for lunch somewhere before we continue on to other errands we need to get done! Sounds like a full day to me...whew!!! It's so much fun though & I love it all, especially spending time with Jessica!
Well that's all for today, thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a great evening!
Hugs...Rita
