Happy Friday peeps!

This is going to be a short post, I have lots of errands to do today & we need to get an early start.

This is father's day card #5 for this week, I cased one of my own cards & just added the shell buttons & the cord, hope you like it.

Because I don't want Dan to see what I made for him, (he peeks at my blog every so often...hi honey!) I will be posting my special project that I've been talking about all week on Sunday & trust me it will be worth the wait. I have another dad card for you for tomorrow & I will be pre-posting that later tonight.

Another Lifeguard Cat Card

Hi all,

I hope your all staying cool! It's really hot here on the east coast, mid to high nineties since Saturday with high humidity, its sweltering here, ugh!!! I hope the temperature breaks soon, I can't take this heat! Hubby & I have been going out everyday to escape the heat in our house. I finally managed to get 2 air conditioners in two of the rooms just before the heat arrived, my bedroom & my craft room. I didn't get to do the windows in the den where my computer is but I do have the ceiling fan which helps a little. After the heat wave I will be cleaning the den so that I can put the ac in that room next. No cleaning going on here with this heat it will have to wait for cooler weather.

Anyway on to my card. I made this card for my cousin's birthday, I know he will appreciate this one! I was hoping to have my funny sentiments in on time to use it for this card but they didn't arrive on time, so it just says relax, happy birthday! There's always next year, right? I wanted to let you know this card was colored with the pencils that Gina K. is selling & they are fantastic!!! Their as smooth as butter to work with & they are really cheap, I loved coloring with them & the colors are so vibrant! You use these with OMS also. I heard some people were using baby oil instead of the OMS with good results, I'll have to buy some baby oil to try it out. OK everyone stay cool & thanks for dropping by today!

Kool Cat - My Life Guard

Hi everyone!

Hope you all had a great weekend! I made a few cards this weekend so that I could put everything away & concentrate on making that engagement scrapbook for my daughter. No I haven't done any cleaning this weekend, I know I'm a bad girl! I only have 1 room done & I'll probably beat myself up a bit later, 'cause I know I'm going to go nuts at the last minute but really need to watch how much I do so that I don't hurt my back, so I'm doing a little at a time. I think my plan will be do some cleaning & then go into my stamp room & work on the scrapbook a little, I think that will work out for me. Then I need to make cards for my daughter to give to wedding party & also make a few things for the rehearsal dinner! Jessica & I also have a project we need to work on together for gifts, I don't think that will take too long but ya never know & we really need to get started on it sweetie so it gets here on time! Only 6 weeks to go...wow, it sure did come fast!!!

Well anyhoo, here is a card I made this weekend. I thought this cool looking life guard cat dude was so cute & would make a nice card for fathers day. I made a few cards for my son to pick from to give to his dad, Marc likes to give funny cards so I thought this would fit the bill. I also have a few others for him, but I think he's going to choose this one! Jessica already has hers & she picked a Gina K. design stamp, (she's the sentimental one) that I will post tomorrow!
