Rainbow Cards

Good Monday mornin' Peeps!

Are you ready for the start of a whole new week...I am! So, lets get started shall we.

Today's cards are all using the MFT Rainbow die , I finally got to use it after purchasing it about a year ago. I made 7 rainbows (so watch for more rainbow cards) I have 3 of them for you today. Click HERE to see a real easy way to make a colorful rainbow using this die from MFT....your going to LOVE this idea, I promise. It's a little time consuming but well worth it. All of the dies I used today are from MFT.

I love the background paper, it adds a whimsical feel to this card.

Cut the rainbow off a little, glued it to the edge, added an embossed cloud & put a gold mat behind the main panel.

Inside - I outlined the edges with a black fine tip marker. I like how it gives it a different finished look, don't you?

Thanks for stopping by & I hope you have a great day!

Happy stamping peeps!

Use your Scraps on a Clean & Simple Card

Happy hump day Peeps!!!

Well we woke up to snow this morning...looks soooo pretty when it's falling but when it stops I'm over it & just want it to melt. BRING on the Spring & Summer!!! I don't know, the older I get the more I hate being in the cold. I wish we could afford 2 homes, one for the summer & one in a warm part of the country for the winters....I think we need to win the lottery! Ok, on to my cards.

I saw this cute card design on "Paper Crafter's Library" & decided to use up some of my scraps & make a few. If you have lots of scraps (who doesn't) this is a fantastic design for them. It's very fast & easy to make. Here are the ones I made Monday. Hope you like them.

Thanks for joining me today, leave a message & let me know what you think. Have a good day everyone!

Father's Day...Part 2

Good mornin' Peeps!

OMGosh...I came across something really cute yesterday (for Dan), I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it & bought the template & got to work on it right away, it's too stinkin' cute!!! I'm going to play a joke on him & have it sit in the driveway. I can't wait to see his face when he sees it! I hope to take a picture Sunday of his reaction.

Here are today's Father's Day cards.

Have a great day...I know I will!

Jessica comes home from her NKOTB cruise tonight & I can't wait to get together with her to hear all about her trip...I'm sure she had a blast!

Bon Voyage

Good mornin' Peeps!

Hope you had a fabulous weekend! We sure did. We got to spend the afternoon with Marc, Sarah & Jessica (Steve had a baseball game & could not be with us) :o(
We had a great lunch outside by the pool, a beautiful sunny day, yep I was in heaven...any time I get to spend with my kids makes me a happy mama!!! Forgot to take pictures but I'll try to remember next time.

Here is a card I made for Jessica, she called after she got it in the mail to let me know she loved it! She's sooooooo excited, she sets sail on her New Kids on the Block cruise Thursday, she leaves here on Wednesday to meet up with her friends, stay at a hotel for the night then board the ship the next day. This is her dream & I'm sure she will enjoy every moment. She said she does not want to sleep because she doesn't want to miss a thing, hahaha!!! Enjoy sweetie & I want to hear all about it when you get back!

That's it for today, thanks for stopping by!

Thumping Technique

Good mornin' peeps!

Well we got a little bit of the white stuff this morning...nothing major, just a covering of snow. Looks so pretty! Now that's it....I don't want anymore. I don't know about you but this weather is spoiling me & I'm READY for Spring, what about you? So far our winter has been wonderful & I like it this way but bring on the warm temps...I want to get into my son's pool!!!

Anyway, lets get back to why your here in the first place...crafting! These are still cards that I made in the Summer & Fall, yep, I still have lots more to share with you from that time frame. I made over 100 cards at that time to bring over to the salon to sell. I'm doing pretty good too!

Well today's card is a technique called thumping & you can see the video that Gina made by clicking HERE , HERE & HERE. Gina has 3 videos on this subject...so go check it out & give it a try, your going to LOVE the effect! I made 3 cards all using the same stamp but with different colors for each card...I love it!

Thanks for dropping by & have a fabulous day!

Get Well Wishes

Hello Peeps!

Today I have some get well cards for you. Hope you like them. Sorry, this is a short post. See you tomorrow.

Thanks to all of you who drop by to visit me, I really appreciate your visits & comments. I love you guys!

I totally cased this card from one of Gina K's videos. She did the plain one you see above & then did another one with a stamped butterfly added to the DP & also stamped the image on the DP rather than on plain white CS & WOW....that really makes this card pop!!! I love it!!! What do you think?

One of my favorite stamps...I reach for this stamp whenever I need to make a quick card & don't want to think about how to design a card. I guess you could call this my lazy day card stamp! I always love the out come though!

Same stamp but different DP & ribbon

Have a great day everyone!

Thank you for your Hospitality

Good mornin' Peeps!

I just stopped in to upload a card I made for my niece to thank her & her hubby for making us feel right at home when we visited them in Texas in May. She loved it & I'm happy with how it turned out. Without even thinking about it when I made it, she mentioned it goes with the colors in her living room...must have been in the back of my subconscious mind I guess. Thanks again Pat & Gary for having us! We Love & miss you guys. I used the Parisian Lace doily die that I got from Papertrey Ink, I LOVE that die!

Hope your all having a great summer..gotta go. Have a fabulous day & thanks for stopping by!
