Happy Mail

Good mornin' Peeps!

OMGosh, I got the biggest surprise last week from my good friend Linda in Hawaii, she sent me a package & when I opened it, guess what was inside...a tin of Honolulu Cookies! Once I picked myself up from the floor I went to my PC to send her an email, I was soooo excited & happy. Thanks so much Linda, you made my day & put a HUGE smile on my face. I really hope that one day soon we can connect in Vegas when we are both there at the same time, so sorry we are going to miss each other next month by 2 weeks but maybe in October we can connect....you have plenty of time to make plans for that one, hahaha!!!

Sorry I don't have a card for you today but hopefully I will have one for tomorrow. The card that I have on hold I can't post till my son's birthday on Saturday. I'm going upstairs to do a little stamping later so come back tomorrow for a clean & simple card.

Maui Vacation Slide Show

Good morning Peeps!

Well it's not morning for you, it's 1 PM your time, but here it is 7 AM. It's so beautiful here & we are enjoying this beautiful condo & resort in Maui, it's so peaceful & laid back. The people here are so friendly & wonderful, we LOVE it!

Here are a few pictures for today, its the start of day 3 here for us & my sister & niece (mother of the bride) are here so we hope to connect with them later. More people are coming in today.

Mountain view while walking on the pathway of all the hotels in our area which is more that 3 miles - great walk for the morning. We will only be walking a mile 1 way, then another mile back for a total of 2 miles...good enough for us.

9/11 We Remember

Today is a day of remembrance. Responders are still losing their lives due to the toxic dust, I would like all of us to take a minute out of our day today to say a prayer & remember all those who lost their lives that day. I want to thank all those who continue to serve our country whether they are firefighters, police or military, they all put their lives on the line each day to keep us all safe. Saying thank you just isn't enough.

Baby Shower Pictures!!!

Good morning Peeps!

Another long post today. We had a beautiful HOT day for the baby shower & everyone had a fabulous time! I'm posting pictures of the shower today & will share my shower projects with you all week...so stay tuned for that, your going to love it, I think! It won't be long now before our first granddaughter is born & we all can't wait to meet her!!!

Dan & I are shopping for a NEW car & have one more dealership to check out later today (it's between 2 different cars & Dan wants to check out the car that her wants but I think I will get my way...we shall see. It's between 2 totally different cars. We hope to buy it before the weeks end...wish us luck!

First kids to arrive...headed straight for the pool, it was a pool party after all & it was very hot.



Quilt table...everyone made their own quilt square (a little note or a hand drawn image) for a baby quilt & the kids are drawing on onesies, this was a cute idea & people had fun with it. It was a success!

Thanksgiving Blessing Mix

Hi everyone!

Just a few pictures from Thanksgiving & the Blessing mix & table place cards I made for my family. The box/bag was made using SU fancy favor box die & the tutorial for the blessing mix came from Angie. I embossed this card stock (from Michael's) but this CS was not thick enough (too thin, it was coming apart at the scored lines & I didn't like the look, so I decided NOT to emboss it like Angie's. I have to remember to order some 12x12 CS from SU on my next order for these favor boxes. The place cards are made with a PTI die called "Placecard", it Coordinates With this set called: "Places, Please Mini Stamp Set".

I hope you all had a wonderful & Blessed Thanksgiving...we sure did. Marc finally got around to putting up my rods in my craft room (for my punches from Ikea) & the ink box for my inks on the wall. He & Dan put them up after we ate, now all I have to do is clean up the mess they made & organize how I want it to look. Well I'm off to finish washing clothes & then I'm going to watch some TV. Talk to you soon.

Paper Rose Topiary at Bella Art

Good morning everyone!

To all my local friends & readers...I'm going to Bella Art in Johnston R.I. either this week or next week to make this awesome paper rose topiary...does anyone want to join me??? I saw this topiary in the store (one small $20. & one large $35.) this summer & fell in love with it, well I want to make one of the smaller ones, so I'll be calling the store to set up a time for me to attend a class, (by myself or with some of you) probably in the morning sometime. I have the die from MFT so she said to start off with the small one & then I can make the bigger one on my own once I know what to do. How about it...anyone game to come along??? Yvette, Betty, Ree, Sandi...anyone??? Here are some pictures.

Hello Peeps!

My it's been a long time since I've posted on my blog...so sorry. I'm almost done with my craft room & spring cleaning upstairs. I can FINALLY see the end nearing to this organizing project. I will still have some stuff to do (like labeling everything & updating my inventory books) but that can come after the set up is finished. I can't wait to start crafting again, its been sooooo long that I hope I can find my mojo again. Anyway I have a few RAK's that I've received from friends to tie you over so here are a few photos. It's a Winter Wonderland here!!!

This post is for all my Hawaiian friends! Sending you some of the white stuff...my gift to you...LOL!!!

This is also a post to all my good friends, this is what it looks like here on the east coast. Our neighbor Glenn is so good to us during these BIG snow storms...Bless his heart! He's always helping out with snow blowing our drive way sometimes, he's the BEST! Thanks so much Glenn! I have to come up with something to show our appreciation.
