Hexagon Thank you cards

Good mornin' Peeps!

Today I have a couple of Thank you cards I made, I hope you like them. I'm currently working on some tags for candy treat bags for Braelynn's 1st birthday! Yep, she's a year old next week....I can't believe it!!! Time sure does fly by fast! I will have some great news that I will be able to share with you next month!

As always thank you so much for dropping by & have a great day!

I used PTI Happy Hexagons Mini Stamp Set, I also used the Cover Plate: Hexagon Die to stamp the hexagons & keep them in a straight line,  You can click HERE to see & get Nicole's color planner & her tutorial on this plate, I used various inks & scored 2 lines on top & bottom of hexagons to define that area. Stamped my Thank you & added some crystals.

Inside I used a little stamp that came with the PTI set & some Washi tape.

Magical Masking Tape Technique

Good mornin' Peeps!

Hope your all enjoying your summer...I can't believe it's the last day of July. The summer is just flying by & in a few weeks Braelynn will be a year old...wowzer!

Today's card is a technique I saw on Splitcoast called Magical Masking Tape & Beate has a video on how to do it, so click HERE & take a look...it was fun to do. Here are my cards that I did with this technique. Give it a try!

Thanks for dropping by & have a great day!

My Paper Pumpkin - June kit

Good morning Peeps!

Boy, has it been hot, hot, hot, not just here but all across the country. I sure hope that you are all staying cool! It's supposed to get a little cooler here this week...around the 80's & not so humid. I know I haven't been posting lately but I've been busy & just started a yoga class. Had my 2nd class this past week & I'm not sure yet if I really like it but time will tell.

Today's cards are from the June SU MY Paper Pumpkin kit, I have their version & then I have my version using some PTI hexagon stamps. I also inked the zig zag stamp that came with the kit in red & then kissed the heart stamp to that to make some zig zag hearts & then added some twine & popped up 3 hexagons on the front. Hope you like it!

Stay cool everyone!

Goodbye tension...Hello pension!!!

Good mornin' peeps!

Well today's project was something Dan asked me to make for his boss's retirement party, so I sat at my desk & thought of what she might like & came up with a box of all occasion cards. I remembered that Deanna had a box on her blog that I liked & the size she made is perfect for A2 size cards. Once I found it again I went upstairs to work & made the box first, then a few days later made the top of the box along with the 2 sympathy cards to match the box. After that I set out to make a few more cards along with some cards that I had in my stash. Then I made her retirement card, I've made this card before & love this image & card design...it's my go to design for retirement cards (unless it's for a male, then I will have to come up with a different image & I have a few in mind, hahaha!!!) Dan told me that she loved it! That made me a happy crafter! Don't you love it when people appreciate your work?

Thanks for joining me today, you know how much I love your company! Have a great day!

This box fit 10 cards. This box was created by my good friend Deanna, click HERE for her tutorial...she's amazing! Thanks Deanna!

I made 2 sympathy cards to match the box.

I put 10 cards & envelopes in the box - a mixed set of birthday, wedding, sympathy, baby, get well, etc.

Seahorse Birthday card

Good mornin' Peeps!

First of all I would like to give all those affected by the tornadoes in Moore, Oklahoma my love & prayers, you are in my thoughts at this most difficult time...my heart goes out to you all.

Today's card has a nautical theme with a cute Seahorse on it. I LOVE Seahorse's, don't you? They are so stinkin' cute! I just LOVE how this card turned out!!! I saw this card on Lisa Young's blog & fell in love with it! The stamp set is by SU "By the Tide" & used the water blotches from SU "French Foliage" to look like bubbles. Embossed the background layer with the SU cloud embossing folder. I think I'll make a Father's day card like this one too! Well let me go back upstairs & make that one right now. I'm also working on something that Dan wanted me to make for him but I can't show it till July.

Have a great day & thanks for stopping by & visiting me today, I sure do appreciate it!

This is a blank card. I decided I need to make some blank cards for my stash & add the sentiments to the front & the inside when I need a certain card. It's easy enough to do when your pressed for time.

Thank You Cards

Happy Monday Peeps!!!

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. It's really cold here but Wednesday it's going to start warming up for a couple of days, temp will be around 46 to 50 degrees, yeah!!!

I have some Thank you cards that I made in October. Don't know if you will be able to see the shimmer mist that I sprayed on them but they are really sparkly...click on the picture to make it larger & then you might just see it. It's hard to get it to show up when I take the pictures but they are really pretty in person.

Thanks for stopping by & spending a little part of your day with me. Have a great day & I'll see you again tomorrow.

Christmas Gift Card Holders

Hello peeps!

Here are the last of the Christmas projects I made for the holidays. I do have a few items that I made which have not been posted yet so come back next week for those.

Have a great weekend & thanks for dropping by!

Note: Someone asked if I put lipstick on & then kissed the cover to these cards...that made me laugh!!! No I did not. It's a stamp from SU, I think it's retired but I'm not sure.

The Wedding Invitation

Good mornin’ Peeps!

This is a scheduled post that I wrote & set up before I left home, so the wedding was yesterday & now I can share pictures of the invitations & thank you cards I made for Kim & Jack. Then I will be sharing all the other sample invitations that got rejected. I made quite a few samples for them to pick from & told them that if they like something on one card & something from another then we could incorporate those elements into their invitations & make it work & that’s exactly what they did & they came out beautiful if I do say so myself!!! I totally enjoyed making these for them.

I got my inspiration for this card design from my good friend Corinne (thanks so much Corinne for always inspiring me) with this card & this card .

Here they are…I hope you like them.

Top Note Gift Card Holder

Good morning Peeps!

Here is a gift card holder I made a few months back (I think it was in the winter) left it blank till I needed it & decided to give it to Jessica for her birthday. I saw this on Dawn's blog, click HERE for the video. I decided to add a full card to it so I could write a note as well...so it's just a little different. Thanks Dawn for always inspiring me.

As always thanks so much for stopping by today, you all know how much I enjoy your company & how I love to read your comments. Have a fabulous day & I'll talk to you again soon.

Gave this to Jessica the other day with her gift card even though her birthday isn't until Thursday. I have something else for her & will post that on her birthday after I give it to her.
