Here are two more sympathy cards that I made for my stash. It's a good thing to have these extra cards on hand so you don't have to make them at the last minute.

Memories keep our Loved ones close

Hello Peeps!

Hope your all staying cool in this hot weather. I don't know what I would do without my AC but today was a beautiful dry day, so I got to open all the windows & aired out my house, it felt soooo good to have some fresh cool air come in this morning. The humidity returns tomorrow.

Well on to reason you dropped by. I have two sympathy cards for you today, same design but different colors. I hope you like them, I will have 2 more for you tomorrow & then 1 more gorgeous card for you on Thursday & that will wrap up the sympathy cards before moving on to something else.

Have a great day & thanks for stopping by today!

Top Note Sympathy Card

Good mornin' peeps!

I went to Newport & met up with a bunch of my friends and former co-workers last night. We had dinner at my fav place (you know I had my favorite dish... the seafood platter) we caught up with all the news & there was a lot of news. There were 7 of us, some cancelled at the last minute. We had a great time, it's so wonderful when we get together & we need to do it more often, maybe twice a year...how about it girls???

Well onto today's card. The ones we hate to make, but is much easier when we make them ahead of time & put them in our stack for when we DO need them. I had made this one before & it's a favorite of mine...plus it's fast & simple to make. I used the top note die & then embossed with the Manhattan flower folder. Put dimensionals on the back added a ribbon & flower along with a sentiment & was done. The card stock is PTI Rustic Cream...I LOVE this CS.

Thanks for stopping by...I'm so glad you did!!!

Plain & Simple

Good morning peeps!

Today's cards are plain & very simple & I love them! Sometimes you just have to do some of these simple ones to clear your head & take it easy before moving on & trying new things. I have a few cards that I made with Dawn Griffith's "Mother of Pearl" technique. I'll show you that sometime this week & add a link to her tutorial in the post, your going to love this one!

Thanks for stopping by today & have a great day!

While I was on a clean & simple kick, I decided to do this birthday card too.

Sympathy Card

Hi Everyone!

Well the morning was a little snowy...not much but now the sun is shinning & we hope to melt some of this snow today before the next storm on Saturday. Yep, you heard right, another storm...this really is the "Winter from Hell"!!! I thought I would brighten things up a little around here so I got me a NEW Valentine background to help cheer me up from the winter time blues...how do you like it, does it cheer you up too?

Well I needed to make a sympathy card for one of my loyal readers & friend who lost her mother recently & this is what I came up with, I sure hope she likes it & I hope I got to put a little smile on her face.

Now I'm off to make another birthday card & hopefully this weekend I can find the time to make my honey a valentine card. Have a great day!

Happy Stamping Peeps!

I'm Back!!!

Hello Peeps!

So sorry its been awhile but I was having computer issues, it's still not fully resolved but it's better. I hope to buy myself a laptop for my birthday & hope to bring it with me when I go on vacation in April. Speaking of birthday's, I can't believe I'm going to be the BIG 60 in April & when I say that, I mean that I am truly DEVASTATED about this number. I have never been bothered by age before, it didn't bother me when I turned 30, 40 or 50 I always said its just a number but....60 oh my, now that is an age I DON'T want to be. I guess I could look at it like I'm glad & thankful that I'm still here, well I guess I'm going to have to start lying about my age from now on, I think I'll be 45 from now on...EVERY year! Hahaha!!!

I had to make a sympathy card for a friend a few weeks ago, she lost her mother & I never seem to have any cards on hand. I find that these cards are the most difficult to make. Does that happen with you too when it comes to sympathy cards? I need to make some so I can have them on hand, it's never easy to make them when you have to...note to self "make sympathy cards", that goes on my to do list. I cased this card from Gina K on Stamp TV, I just adjusted my measurements for the main image & I love how this card turned out. I think I'm going to make more with this design.

I have been working on my niece's wedding programs for her April wedding in California, I'm making 40 of them this time (that's not so bad)& they are the exact same design that I made for my son's wedding, Joyce loved them so much that she was hoping I would make them for her & of course I was happy to do so. I can't wait to go out west & I hope to connect with Maria for lunch or something while I'm out there, I can't wait to meet you Maria!

Well that's all for today gang, I hope you have a great Sunday & enjoy the "Super Bowl"!

Sympathy Card

Hi all!

I want to make a few sympathy cards to have on hand when I need them & for every card that I make I'm also making one for Jessica & Sarah for their card tins that I gave them for Christmas which I didn't have time to fill with cards. Here is one that I made this weekend with Pam (hi Pam...a few more days till your cruise!) I luv this Calla Lilly stamp from the Little Paper Shop & its great for this type of card.
I still have so much to catch up on & need to get my act together but hey at least I got my mojo back!

Well this post is short but sweet so until tomorrow folks! Have a great day & thanks for stopping by today!

Sympathy Card

Hi everyone!

Wow 2 posts in one day...Amazing!!!

Looks like we are going to get more snow tomorrow, it already looks grim out there. I know a lot of you are in a deep freeze & I hope you are all staying warm & healthy.

So sorry that I didn't get to post yesterday but we ended up going out all day & when I got home I didn't feel like posting. Here is the card I promised that I would post on Monday so I'm a day late & a dollar short! Hehehe!!! I really need to make a stack of sympathy cards to have on hand so that I don't have to feel so sad when I HAVE to make them. This one is for a good dear friend who lost her mother recently & no one (from where we used to work) told us about it till after the funeral, I hate that because Dan & I would have been there for her...out of sight out of mind as the saying goes. Anyway onto my card.

Card Details:

Stamps: Little Paper Shop & sentiment on front is from Rubber Stampede(AC Moore)
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, Koh-I-Noor pencils & OMS
