Anyone for Golf???

Good morning peeps!!!

Well I finally brought the card rack to the salon last night, now lets hope I can sell them.

I will be posting birthday cards for next week or two, so come back & take a peak. Today's card is golfing Bella & I love this design, I think it came out great...let me know what you think!

Well Dan & I spent Sunday with Marc & Sarah at their newly installed pool & it is gorgeous! Dan & I LOVE the hot tub...wow that was sooooo relaxing! It was in the 80's for Columbus Day weekend...the last hurrah for the pool I guess. You know where I'll be next summer...spending a day or two every week relaxing poolside at their house, lol!!!

Here are 3 pictures of the card rack (couldn't decide which pic was the good one, so I put up all 3) I brought to the salon where Jessica works. I put 80 cards in it, I think that's enough & I will restock every month or so, depends on how they sell. I need to get to work & make more so I can have a big stockpile on hand.

Paper Rose Topiary at Bella Art

Good morning everyone!

To all my local friends & readers...I'm going to Bella Art in Johnston R.I. either this week or next week to make this awesome paper rose topiary...does anyone want to join me??? I saw this topiary in the store (one small $20. & one large $35.) this summer & fell in love with it, well I want to make one of the smaller ones, so I'll be calling the store to set up a time for me to attend a class, (by myself or with some of you) probably in the morning sometime. I have the die from MFT so she said to start off with the small one & then I can make the bigger one on my own once I know what to do. How about it...anyone game to come along??? Yvette, Betty, Ree, Sandi...anyone??? Here are some pictures.

He helped roll the flowers & they made these for the tables at his daughter's wedding. What a nice dad!

Baroque Motif Anniversary Card

Hello Peeps!

Today's card is the last of the Anniversary cards & then we will move on to birthday cards. I'll be taking a picture of the card rack today & hope to post that sometime next week. I'm bringing the rack to the salon on Tuesday & hope they sell well there...we shall see. Wish me luck!!!

Mother of Pearl Anniversary Card

Good morning everyone!

Got my laptop back last night...I'm so happy to have it back! I got a nasty virus that wiped out my hard drive. Thanks to the amazing people over at the Geek Squad at Best Buy, they retrieved all of my files & software that I thought was gone forever. The only thing I had to do when I got home was figure out how to get my background, icons & theme settings back to the way I like them & it only took me just under an hour. I finally realized that the folder on the desktop contained all my icons...how cool was that? Just 1 more little thing I'm trying to figure out but it's not a problem if I don't get it the way I want it to look, it's just me being picky & wanting things the way I had it before...I'm a creature of habit! Lol!!! I figured while I was there picking up my laptop I might as well have them do the Dell desktop PC too. I want everything taken out & have them put it all back in so it will run faster & be like new again, I hope! I had to use that PC while mine was in the shop & let me tell you it was sooooo darn slooooooow! I don't have the patience for slow. So I was not on the PC much because of that, I just couldn't deal with the stress. Should get that PC back tomorrow.

Today's card is totally cased. I saw this video on Dawn Griffith's blog & knew I had to try it & it is gorgeous up close & in person. I don't know if I captured the pearl glow in the photos (I tried, click on the photos to make it bigger) but it's sooo darn beautiful!!! Click on Dawn's name & go over there & take a look at her video, it's so easy to do & I had a blast doing it. I made Anniversary, Sympathy & birthday cards with this same card but different sentiments. What do you think? Go on...go over there & give it a try, you won't be sorry!
