I'm still here!

Hi Peeps!

Just wanted to let you all know that I'm still here! We just got back last night from a little mini trip (3 days) to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary which is today! I do have a few cards & projects to share with you but I need to get the pics on my computer & crop them, so I'll have that for you next week. I'm almost done with my Spring cleaning & the windows are nice & clean...wow what a difference, "I can see clearly now"....I couldn't resist that one! Hehehe!!! The house smells sooooo clean, I just love it! Talk to you soon, I need to catch up with every one's blog & my email. Have a great weekend!

Hi Peeps!

I'm so sorry that I've been a bad blogger lately but life does get in the way every once in awhile as we all know. I did manage to make a few of these adorable purses when I took a break from household chores. This template I bought from Papertrey it's by Lauren Meader and she has a lot of wonderful templates, they are called "My Timeless Templates" & these are so easy to use! I will definitely be buying more of her templates that's for sure. You need to go over to Lauren's blog & take a look at this girls fabulous creations, she is one creative lady & is a gifted designer, I promise you will love her & you will thank me for leading you to her... but wait till you finish reading my blog first before you click on over there!!!

Jessica had me & Dan over for lunch on Mother's day & after that Jessica & I went to pick up my dress for the wedding. I bought it at David's Bridal & they don't store it till the wedding (which kind of disappointed me) so now it has to hang on my door for 5 months, oh well. I do have an appointment for alterations in August but I am going to cancel that, I asked how much it would cost for the hem & a little tuck in the top with the cups put in & holy moly!!! it would cost as much as the dress, no way am I paying that much. My dress for Jessica's wedding had more material & didn't even cost half that much at the local bridal salon & I actually had more alterations on that dress. Jessica knows a seamstress that she used for a few bridesmaids dresses that she had altered & she said she was very good & did a fantastic job on her dresses, so I will be using her too! I had a great time spending the day with my daughter as always! Thanks sweetie! Marc is taking me to lunch Monday so I get to spend some mom time with him, I can't wait! Any time I get to spend with my kids is a gift in itself these days, they are both so very busy.

I have known Deanna for almost 2 years now (I can't believe it!) & as she pointed out to me I was the winner of her first blog candy & the rest is history & a wonderful friendship blossomed.

Just wanted to stop in & let you all know that I'm still here! I'm still cleaning & haven't made any cards lately but I did make a purse from Lauren Meader's Limitless Templates from Papertrey & it came out awesome, I luv it! Will post that sometime next week. Birthday RAK from Jen!

My good friend Jen sent me this awesome birthday RAK...wow Jen, this is too much girl (but I luv it), thank you so much! As always you put a big smile on my face whenever I receive a card from you, you have a big heart girlfriend! I have spoken to Jen on the phone a few times & I luv her Hawaiian accent! I could listen to her all day, she makes me smile.

Jen was one of the very first people I met online & became one of my very dear blogging friends. I have known Jen now for 2 years & she actually helped me with something that I was having trouble with (I'm not computer savy ya know) when I was setting up my blog at the very beginning & the rest as they say is history! I am much better at it now in part thanks to Jen for giving me the courage to try new things & to expand my horizons! Thanks so much Jen & Happy Mother's Day to you kiddo!!! Luv ya!
