Hope your having a good day. It's just beautiful here in Massachusetts, nice & sunny & temp is 80 degrees. I've been working on finishing up my bookmarks today & just finished a card for Jen's sketch challenge, "Sham Battle Challenge" I love the sound of that, don't you? I'm a little weird, heehee!!! CM Paisley Punch Lion Card

Good morning!

Boy, did I sleep like a baby last night! I took two Advil PM pills last night because I haven't slept much all week & was so tired, I just needed to get some sleep. I feel great today, so maybe I can work on some cards. All I've been doing is bookmarks & I'm just about done with those, now I will be preparing the 2,5,7,10 bags for the class I'll be teaching in less than 2 weeks.

Here's a card that I made for a dear friend of mine. This card was soooo much fun to make, no stamping here! The lion's mane is done all with the CM Paisley punch. If you want one of these punches you can get it from your CM consultant or if you don't have a consultant, you can get it from my friends CM web site, here is a link to Tammi's site you can place your order right from her site. They are coming out with a snowflake punch next month...I can't wait for that one. The sentiment was my own, I printed it out on my computer & pasted it to CS.
Tammi had sent me a picture with some borders (by Sue Benedict) made with the punch & this lion was on one of those borders & I thought, Hmmmm! I can make a card with that lion & so I went to work & this is the result...what do you think?

Bookmarks

Hi all!

Just a quick post before going to bed. I've been working on a few things & these bookmarks for our Oct. scrapfest weekend, so here is a picture of the ones that are done so far, I still have about 18 more to make.

This bookmark I got from Corinne click here for her tutorial. These are so easy to make, you'll need some adhesive magnets, you can get them for .99 for 12 magnets which makes 6 bookmarks. I used scraps, one way to get rid of your scraps.

I went couch shopping today with hubby, found 2 that I kinda like, but still want to look some more & maybe go back to the 3 store that I've seen 1 or 2 that I have in mind & see what style & colors I like best. I'm in no hurry...yet!

Tomorrow my daughter & I will be going to a few Bridal stores to check for a dress for me...and the search goes on! Will keep you informed. Have a great evening & talk to you tomorrow.

Card for Victoria

Hi everyone!

Hope your all having a great weekend. I decided to make my card for Victoria (a young high school girl who has cancer) today, I was so undecided what to make for a teenager with the stamps that I had...I did not want to make it to babyish, so I finally decided to do the wishing well from Gina K designs. I hope I didn't make it too grown up, but the colors work for a teenage girl. Let me know what you think. I've Been Tagged!

Hi everyone!

Well it's the beginning of the weekend & it looks like it is going to be a great one weather wise! Get out there & enjoy! After therapy yesterday I went over to AC Moore & Michael's to use my coupons & spent about an hour in each store just looking around & figuring out what I wanted to buy with my coupons & the money I had with me. I did really good & have $5. to spare. I finally found the right color brown marker that I want to use for my wishing well, so I hope to work on that card this weekend & maybe do a few more pages of my scrapbook. I'm also making a bunch of bookmarks (smaller than the one I made before, check out Roxy's tutorial) for our scrapfest next month. I wanted to give the girls a little something from me. I will be teaching them how to make the 2,5,7,10 bags as a favor to my CM consultant Tammi & in return I get to stay & scrap for the day. I call that a GREAT swap!
Sorry I have no cards or scrapbook pages today for you, I was a little busy. Did anyone see Survivor last night? I'm a big fan, I just love that show.

I just saw this on a thread over at SCS. I was at Michael's yesterday & they did not have this yet where I am. These are the new $1 stamps at Michael's. Has anyone seen these yet at the Michael's near you? I can't wait for them to come so that I can get a few, they look awesome!
