Happy Valentine's Day

Good mornin' Peeps!

I'm so happy today, I'm going to my favorite stamp store this afternoon...Bella Art! I need a cruise ship stamp & she has one put aside for me, I just hope I can limit my spending, I guess I have to because I don't have much to spend today, :o(
Jessica is going on the New Kids on the Block cruise (she's been a huge fan since she was like 7, whenever they first started) & she wants me to make all her blockhead friends post-it note holders with pens. They won't have cellphone service so whenever they want to meet up they will leave notes on each others cabin doors to let them know where they will be. Good thinking Jess! She's so excited to be going on this cruise that it's all she talks about, she's sooooo obsessed about it, she makes me laugh. She knows just how many days & hours are left before she leaves, lol!!! Donnie....here she comes!!! Steve is so great & totally supports her obsession, she's one lucky girl. Wish I could have just gone to one concert when the Beatles were around, they were my obsession back in the day, lol!

I Love You

Hi everyone!

While taking pictures of my last valentine card for 2012 (at least I think it's my last card, ya never know) I noticed a theme going on with ALL my cards this year. I made all my cards with punched or cut out hearts with dies...wow, I didn't notice that until yesterday. Well at least they were all cute easy cards, I like that! Lol!!! What was I thinking...I have so many cute stamps but I used hearts, go figure. I guess I didn't want to color, oh well....there's always next year, right?

I had these cards from the dollar section at Michael's that I bought a few years ago & finally decided to use them this year. They have cute little hearts on a pink background so I decided to stamp the I love you from Amy R's stamp set called "All About Love Sentiments" from All that Scraps on a white glitter heart & add a couple of small red glitter hearts to the front (all with dimensionals), stamped Happy Valentine's Day, Hugs & Kisses & XOXO on the inside...done. This was real easy!

It's going to be another gorgeous day here & so out of the ordinary for this time of the year. I'm sure we are going to pay for this unusual winter we're having but I'm really ready for Spring...let's bypass February all together. I'm willing to skip Valentine's day for Spring anytime aren't you? Speaking of which...

Be my Valentine

Hi Peeps!

Well it's that time of year again....Valentine cards are here for awhile! Have you been working on your cards yet? I have some Valentine cards to share with you for the next 2 weeks so hang on....LOVE is in the air!!!

I had this card design in my head using the SU Heart to Heart punch & decided to give it a try once I got the Echo Park "Be Mine" 6x6 paper pad, I saw this sheet with the So in Love with You on it & knew it would be perfect for this idea that was stuck in my head. So off I went to see how it would look & yes....I love how it turned out! I decided to make another one using the Black Script paper & a white heart & I like that one too!
