First Christmas Card of the Season

Good mornin' Peeps!

Today I have my very first Christmas card of the season...I made this a few months back because it was my first attempt at making this style. I'll tell you why...I saw this card HERE on Glenda's blog & knew that I wanted to use this design on one of the wedding invitation samples that I was making for Kim's wedding (you will see those sometime at the end of September, after the wedding & no she did not pick this one.) so I went about making the Christmas card first & really fell in love with it but it was a lot of work...but well worth it, don't you think? I used SU stamps, sorry they are both retired now.

Hello peeps!

Well I had me some Braelynn time yesterday & while I was there the hospital photographer came in to take pics of the baby. That was a great photo op for us too. I got to take some pictures of her with some of the photographer's poses, she took a lot of pictures with some awesome poses. I can't wait to order some for a little grandparents brag wallet I bought years ago from Creative Memories...now I FINALLY get to use it.

Sorry no cards or projects the last few days but I will have some next week, I just want to enjoy whatever time I can get with my granddaughter! Take care...talk to you soon.

Meet my "Cutie Patootie"!

Hi peeps!

Wow our little munchkin arrived yesterday & we are ALL so in LOVE with her! She has the cutest cry, not that high pitched shriek but she does have some lungs on her & lets you know when she's not comfy. She doesn't have a name yet but they have a few in mind & want to wait till they have some time with her so they can see what name fits her best, as soon as I find out I will let you know. Here are a few pics I took last night without a flash (I didn't want to scare her) & they came out pretty good. I only have one pic of Sarah & the baby together (it was taken in the recovery room) & I know she wouldn't want me to show that one, (she has the johnny on & her eyes are closed), I wouldn't do that to her, so I promise to get a good pic when she's looking her best & post that one. I have a few for today for you but you know I will have more soon. Click on picture to make it larger.

Today's the Day!!!

Hi there Peeps!

Well it's 4:10 PM & I have not heard anything yet. Sarah was scheduled for a c-section sometime between 3:30 - 4 PM...this has been the loooongest day on record for me! I hope to have a pic of the baby tomorrow.

Wedding Couple

Well here is the wedding card that my friend asked me to make for her son's upcoming wedding next month. She wanted the Whiff of Joy wedding couple in the horse drawn carriage. I added flower soft to the flowers & it's beautiful in person.

Purple Wedding Party Bella's

Hope you all had a great weekend. We spent Sunday afternoon at the pool with Marc & Sarah & some of her family, Sarah looks fabulous as always & is beaming with excitement, she has had a fantastic pregnancy & is now almost ready to pop that baby out.

Anyway, on to my cards for today. A friend asked me to make a bridal Bella wedding party card for her future daughter-in-law's bridal shower with purple dresses & I was happy to do it. I made 3 cards for her to choose from & she picked the first one. The other two I will keep for my stash. She also wanted me to make her son's wedding card & she requested the "Whiff of Joy" Bride & Groom in the horse drawn carriage from their wedding collection. I will post that tomorrow.

Here are 2 great pictures of Marc & Sarah...in these pictures she has 12 days to go before baby arrives. Now we are down to the final 3 days, she delivers Wednesday sometime between 3:30 - 4 PM but we don't get to see our granddaughter for 3 hours later so that will be sometime between 7 - 8:30 PM, oh my! Wednesday is going to be a very, very, very loooooong day for us grandparents! I hope I make it through the day...she will be worth the wait once we see her.

Memories keep our Loved ones close

Hello Peeps!

Hope your all staying cool in this hot weather. I don't know what I would do without my AC but today was a beautiful dry day, so I got to open all the windows & aired out my house, it felt soooo good to have some fresh cool air come in this morning. The humidity returns tomorrow.
