My Card for Jen's Challenge # 2

Hi everyone,

Hope your all having a great day. This is my card for Jen's Challenge # 2. This was fun, I luv this sketch & how the card turned out. I wanted to use one of my Sarah Kay stamps but it didn't work out for this, so I'll make a card tomorrow with one of the stamps. I stamped a bunch of them last night so all I need to do now is color them in & their ready to put on a card.

I'm in the process of revamping my blog design with a little help from my friends. Today I took the plunge & changed my template. Let me tell you I was scared to death that I was going to screw something up & lose the whole thing, but so far so good, it just needs a little adjustment. Will have lots of thank yous for all the help after I'm done. That's all for today folks! Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Get Well Hippo

Hi everyone,

Went to the torture chamber & am back & glad to report another cleaning with no cavities...yippee! I'm good for another 6 months, ah we'll see about that, hehehe!!! Painful but it's over!

Well here is the card I promised earlier. This is another get well card that I made last week. The stamps are by Gina K Designs created by Melanie Muenchinger called "Just so Hippy" I love all Mel's stamps, she's so creative with her stamps too! Take a look at her blog, very talented lady! All of Gina's design team ladies are so very talented & I luv visiting their blogs for inspiration. I used all scraps for this card except for the Wasabi cs from SU. I colored with my Prisma pencils & OMS. Sorry if the details are a little vague but I didn't write them down when I was working on the card. I started to do that again with the card I made yesterday which will be posted next week. Okay, that's it for today, I hope you all have a great evening. Thanks for stopping by today.

Flower Pics from my Yard

Just wanted to share a few pictures of my flowers that just bloomed. Enjoy, I'll be back later with a card. I'm off to the dentist for a cleaning, ugh! I hate going to the dentist & he knows it, I usually cancel & don't show up for a few years but I promised him 6 months ago that I would try & be good & show up from now on, I told him it had nothing to do with him, just hate going & sitting in chair while he inflicts pain & I have to pay him for that service, is there something wrong with that picture? He laughed! I'm not kidding, hahaha!!! See ya later.

These are the flowers that just bloomed over by the big rock (more like a mountain) on the side of my property.

This one is in the front of the house. I forgot to take pictures of other flowers when they bloomed, they were gorgeous! Oh well there's always next year!

Wedding Pictures

Martini Bella

Hi everyone!

Just a quick post. This is a card that I sent to Allison along with a few goodies for her birthday & I forgot to take a picture before I sent it off to her, so this picture I took when she posted it to her blog. I'm such a ditz at times...brain works faster than body then spaces things out! Maybe I came from Mars & that's why I'm so spacey, ya think? Hahaha!!! I packed up another box yesterday & forgot to write in the card, thought about it when I woke up this morning & had to take it all apart so that I could write on the card then boxed & taped it up again, dah!!! I didn't write any details for this card sorry, come to think of it I haven't written any details for the cards that I've made lately. I will remedy that starting today but I still have a few cards 1 or 2 more with no details, sorry! What's up with me lately...I need to get organized this is not like me. Usually my craft room is nice & neat & I'm well organized, so this is so out of character for me. My room is such a mess & I need to work on that cause I can't find anything.

I need to buy a few more things for my blog candy so I haven't forgotten, it's coming real soon. Well thank you all for visiting today & have a great weekend & get out & have some fun! See ya soon!

Wedding Card Chest

Here is how I added a little bit of color to the wedding card chest. I luv how it came out. Just a nice ribbon (in pink of course) & a beautiful white silk rose & walla!!!

Get Well Card

A Get Well from Froggy!

I luv this stamp set by Gina K Designs created by Melanie Muenchinger. It's called Just so Hoppy, I will be using this & her other sets a lot...their so darn cute! I noticed something about this card after I uploaded the photo...can you spot it?

Hehehe!!! I forgot to color the hand (or whatever you call it) that's holding the get well sign, insert red face! But I didn't feel like going upstairs again & getting the card to take another picture & yes I did finish coloring it! I'm just so hoppy (hehehe) that I caught it before I gave it to the friend that this was meant for, he's in the hospital & will be in there for another week & will get a kick out of this card.

Well thanks for stopping in today & have a great evening!

Hi Ladies & Gent,

Are you all wondering who the gent is? Well I made a new friend several weeks ago & he is awesome & has some great cards & projects on his blog & he loves to take awesome pictures, so get on over there & take a peek. His name is Curt & if you leave a comment tell him I sent you. He has some fabulous looking dogs, too! I know that once you take a peek at his blog you'll go back for more, he's very talented & a great guy!

Last week I got some mail from my good friend Jen in Hawaii, she surprised me with a cute card that I call Miss Piggy (isn't she adorable?) this card really lifted my spirits 'cause I was feeling blue last week. It's so wonderful to know that we can do so much for a person with just a little nice hand made card to let them know that we are thinking of them. Thanks so much Jen for your friendship, it means the world to me! Jen has a little store on her website called "Little C's" and she has some beautiful stamps & lots of other stuff, go take a look. I just bought & received some Sarah Kay clear stamps & their beautiful. I will be making some cards with them real soon.

That's all for now , I'll be back later with a card that I made last week.

Bridal Party Thank you cards

Hello everyone,

This is the last of the wedding projects that I made. I hope to have some pictures for you soon, just waiting for people to give me some Cd's with the pictures so that I can upload them onto Slide & then onto my blog.

I made some thank you cards for Jessica to give to her bridal party as a thank you for standing up for her & being a part of the wedding & for all their help & support. The girls loved them & Jessica gave them each a beautiful big Jewelry box with earrings inside to use for the wedding, also each of them received a digital photo book of all the good times they have shared together from the time they became friends to the present. Jessica has known Nikki the longest since they grew up together & lived on the same street. Sarah has been friends with Jessica since high school & Danielle since 2003 I think. Katie received a jewelry box as a thank you for singing at the wedding. These girls are such a big part of Jessica's life & they have all had such great times together. The next thing on the agenda is Danielle's baby...I can't wait for that, I already have ideas for gifts!

Thanks for stopping by & visiting with me today & I hope you all have a great evening!

I made this card for Sarah the maid of honor. Her dress was hot pink with a light pink sash & colored her hair brown to match Sarah's. I used a white ribbon on her card.

This is Danielle's card she is the blonde pregnant bridesmaid & I colored her hair to match Danielle's. Their dresses were light pink with hot pink sashes. The flowers were hot pink & light pink Gerber daisies.

This is Nikki's card, another bridesmaid, I colored Bella's hair to match Nikki's brown hair. These Bella's are so perfect for the maid of honor & bridesmaids, I luv how they came out!

I made this card for Katie. Katie sang the song that Jessica dedicated to Steve,(When you say nothing at all by Allison Krauss)during the wedding ceremony & most of the women were all teary eyed & asking for tissues. Katie did a fantastic job as always, she has a beautiful singing voice.

Wedding Projects

Hi everyone,

I'm back & today I thought I would share a few things that I made for the wedding. I forgot to take a picture of the rose & pink ribbon that I put on the card wedding chest but Tammi (Bless you girl) took a picture at the wedding of the box so when I get to post that you will see it then, it just added a little more pink to a white chest & came out beautiful!

I'm just starting to get my mojoe back & made two get well cards that I will share with all of you soon. I need to make a few birthday cards & get them mailed real soon. So as you can tell I'm excited to have my creative juices flowing again!!! I bought so many new stamp sets while I was busy with shower & wedding stuff & now I get to finally play with all of them, so there will be lots of cards & projects coming soon. Also stay tuned for some blog candy coming soon to celebrate my 1 year blogaversary which past me by while preparing for the wedding. Well better late than never right? I can't believe its been a year already, time went by so quickly, don't ya think??? Thanks to all of you for your continued support & visiting my blog often, without you I never would have attempted this venture.

Well hubby & I are going out then later this evening we have to go to the airport to pick up Jessica & Steve. They are returning tonight from their honeymoon, I can't wait to hear all about the Riviera & see their pictures! I really missed them!

Enjoy your day & I will talk to you soon. As always thanks for stopping by today!

These are the picture frames that we bought for the tables to let everyone know which table number they would be sitting at, I love how they came out! Tammi told me about the silk paper at AC Moore & I bought all of the silk paper, they didn't have enough so they also had some linen paper that was very pretty & similar so I bought a few of those too. As it turned out I over bought & had plenty left over, so you will see this paper on future cards.

This is the card that I made for Jessica & put into the box with her Engagement Scrapbook that I gave her, again I found a poem online to put inside with a note from me.

This is the back of the Charity cards. I forgot to show this when I first uploaded after I made them.

Beautiful Wedding Day

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to let you know that I am back but I need to get my mo-Joe back so for the next few days I will be posting wedding related pictures & items that I made for the wedding.

The wedding was beautiful & we couldn't have asked for a more perfect day! Jessica was so beautiful & it took all my strength not to sob like crazy while she walked down the aisle with her father. I cried but controlled the wild sobbing & let me tell you it was very hard to do (Corinne your turn will come next year so prepare yourself...it's really hard)I didn't think that would happen after all I was relaxed & prepared but the minute I saw them in the doorway I almost lost it! Her friend Katie sang a song that Jessica dedicated to Steve during the ceremony & everyone had tears in their eyes during that song & asking for tissues.

I don't have a CD yet of the pictures that my friend Tammi took for me to use when I do Jessica's wedding scrapbook, she uploaded them for me in Shutterfly & if I can figure out how to get them into Slide or get the CD soon I will post them for you. Tammi did a fantastic job, she created some awesome posses for the bridal & wedding party, thank you so much Tammi for doing this for me...your AWESOME my friend!!!

So for today I'm posting the pictures of the engagement album that I gave to Jessica on the night before her wedding. This album is from the time Steve proposed all the way through all the steps leading up to the wedding day. Enjoy & I will be back tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by today.
