I'm Back!!!

Hello Peeps!

So sorry its been awhile but I was having computer issues, it's still not fully resolved but it's better. I hope to buy myself a laptop for my birthday & hope to bring it with me when I go on vacation in April. Speaking of birthday's, I can't believe I'm going to be the BIG 60 in April & when I say that, I mean that I am truly DEVASTATED about this number. I have never been bothered by age before, it didn't bother me when I turned 30, 40 or 50 I always said its just a number but....60 oh my, now that is an age I DON'T want to be. I guess I could look at it like I'm glad & thankful that I'm still here, well I guess I'm going to have to start lying about my age from now on, I think I'll be 45 from now on...EVERY year! Hahaha!!!

I had to make a sympathy card for a friend a few weeks ago, she lost her mother & I never seem to have any cards on hand. I find that these cards are the most difficult to make. Does that happen with you too when it comes to sympathy cards? I need to make some so I can have them on hand, it's never easy to make them when you have to...note to self "make sympathy cards", that goes on my to do list. I cased this card from Gina K on Stamp TV, I just adjusted my measurements for the main image & I love how this card turned out. I think I'm going to make more with this design.

I have been working on my niece's wedding programs for her April wedding in California, I'm making 40 of them this time (that's not so bad)& they are the exact same design that I made for my son's wedding, Joyce loved them so much that she was hoping I would make them for her & of course I was happy to do so. I can't wait to go out west & I hope to connect with Maria for lunch or something while I'm out there, I can't wait to meet you Maria!

Well that's all for today gang, I hope you have a great Sunday & enjoy the "Super Bowl"!

Good to see you back, don't let the big 60 bother you. I turned 60 in July, thought about it for awhile before but once the big day came it was just another number. 60 wonderful years.

So glad you are back! Don't think too much about turning 60. You are young at heart.
Lovely card and I feel the same way about making sympathy cards.

What a truly beautiful sympathy card. I too find them hard to make and this week I had had to make 12 of them. I too will turn 60 this year and I am not looking forward to it either.

OMG, no wonder you call me kiddo, jk, hee, hee. You in no way look like you'll be 60, I never would have guessed that in a million years! What's your secret so I can look as good as you when I reach that milestone?

And, yes sympathy cards are the hardest ones for me to make and never seem to have any on hand made up ahead of time.

Hugs,
Gina

Yay! I'm so glad that you have returned also Rita. You want to know something, you look fabulous Rita! In fact, you look better and younger than some of the young folks.

I'm a people watcher and when I go to the malls, I just sit and look at the peeps coming and going. I tell ya' some of these young girls already look old from not taking care of themselves. Too much excessive everything!
So take it from me, you are blessed dear!
Big hugs
Risa:)
