One Layer Card

Well today Jessica & I are going to the spa for a manicure & pedi (Jessica's treat part of my birthday gift), she's such a thoughtful daughter & it gives us more time together, which I luv! She's coming over to do Dan's hair first & then we have our appointment this afternoon. I have some errands to run before she gets here, I have a busy day today, I also have to pack enough clothes for two weeks.

I made three of these cards & threw out the first one because I didn't like the way it came out but I managed to hold onto 2 of them, it was a learning curve I'll tell ya. I sent these to the other two girls who shared my birthday with me yesterday, I hope they liked it! I got the idea from Angie over at Chic' n Scratch. She is a great crafter & she has lots of ideas & videos so go take a look.

Gotta go & get ready now. We leave very early tomorrow morning so I won't be posting but I'm going to try to do some pre posting if I can find some time today & hope all goes well. If I get some good Internet service I will try to post some pictures. I'll be taking my laptop with me. Hey Teri, see you soon kiddo!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Card details

CS: PTI Vintage Cream
Ink: PTI Perfect Match New Leaf, Dark Chocolate & SU Brilliant Blue
Stamps: SU Well Scripted & Heard from the heart
I punched out the bird & branch, I then took the punched piece & used it as a stencil instead of the punched out pieces & used a dauber to ink the inside of the stencil, this one didn't come out too good (you can see the error in the wing) but after 3 tries the 3rd one came out a little better. I guess practice makes perfect

Happy Belated Birthday Wishes to you Rita! I hope that your day was fantastic and that most of your wishes came true!
I love the simple elegance of your card. Your image is beautiful and looks like you airbrushed it on. I also love the tearing feature, very nice!
Enjoy your manicure with your daughter and have a blessed day!
hugs

Beautiful one layer card. That's hard to make after making so many layer cards.
