Morning Routine

Well good mornin' peeps!

Hope you enjoyed the Oscar's last night, I sure did! I love Billy Crystal & he did a fantastic job hosting as always.

Here are 2 more Bella cards for you today. She's getting ready to style her hair for work...I know that this was my morning routine every day when I was working. Now I do it but it's not early in the morning & it's not a daily routine anymore & I love it! Is this your daily routine?

Well gotta go do my household chores...washing clothes today. Thanks for stopping by...happy stamping!!!

I got this cute background stamp from Viva Las Vegas Stamps when I visited their fabulous store 2 years ago. I have to go back there next time I visit Vegas. I stamped it a few times to create this background for my card.

Have a great day!

Happy Retirement!!!

Hi peeps!

How are you this fine soggy Friday? As you can tell by that sentence, it's raining here but I'm still in a good mood! I have a fabulous post for you today & I just love it! I had a retirement luncheon for a former co-worker a few weeks ago & needed to make a card & this is what I came up with...I love it! Then the woman that was picking me up has a habit of forgetting things so we all have to call her a few times to remind her that she needs to pick us up or go here or there. It's a running joke with us but we all love her anyway. Love ya Diane! Gina K made a video on this memory dry erase frame & my mind was reeling. I knew I wanted to make it for Diane & then I had a light bulb moment & decide to make one for our retiree Linda as well...not that she forgets anything but ya never know. Now that she's retired she might just start forgetting, right? Ah...maybe not but it was a good gift to make for her anyway. I made a few other little things to put in the gift bag as well, just a little something from me. We all chipped in to get her a few goodies & it put a nice smile on her face when she opened the cards from all her coworkers & friends. Now she has joined us retirees who have a big happy smile plastered to our faces. I call it the Happy face club & everyone wants to join but some still have a few years to go before joining our exclusive club. It was funny hearing them all count down to the day they retire...they can't wait, work has gotten even more stressful since we left & the new systems in place are a nightmare.

Well that's it for today & as always, thanks so much for stopping by, I sure do appreciate it.

I love how this card turned out! My inspiration came from this card by Amy. As soon as I saw her card I knew the stamp I wanted to use & what card I wanted to make...Linda's retirement card & I was off to make my card.

Fall Leaves Get Well Card

Good morning everyone!

Sorry for not posting often but I've been a busy bee lately. I'm in the process of making samples of wedding invitations for my great niece for her wedding in Hawaii. I'm making 2 different designs that she picked out from about 20 designs that I sent her to look at & I wanted to make one in a few different colors with a couple of embossing folders to give it a different look. I'm waiting on some measurements for the other design from a blogging friend of mine, I hope to get those soon. When the samples are done & sent to Kim to tweak it the way she wants then I'll post them. I won't post the finished invitation until I'm done & she mails them out to everyone.
This will be my first wedding invitation that I've ever made. I made the wedding programs for my son's wedding & they were a big hit with everyone & they came out soooo beautiful. I made the shower invitations for my daughter's bridal shower but never wedding invites so I'm a little nervous. OK, enough chatter, lets get on to today's card.

I have a get well card for today & I cased this design from Diana, thanks for the inspiration Diana! Go on over to her blog, she is amazing & I love reading her blog, she makes me laugh with her chatter, she is so much fun.

Have a great day peeps!

Thank you for stopping by! I appreciate each visit and comment. Stop by again soon.

Hit by Cupid's Arrow!

Good morning Peeps!

Wow, I had a fabulous time yesterday at a retirement luncheon for a friend that I used to work with & I got to see so many of my former co-workers that I hadn't seen in a few years. You know, you never miss the work but you sure do miss the people you worked with & became friends with over the years. Wishing you all the best Linda & many happy stress free years!

Today's card was cased from Amy, I changed it up a bit when I came across this cute sizzix die of cupid that I forgot I had from years ago. So happy I found it in time for Valentine's day. I cut out 1 red cupid & 1 black cupid & put them offside to create a little shadow & then placed a dimensional behind it to create some dimension, I love how it turned out.

Are you all ready for Super Bowl Sunday? We will be watching the game at Marc & Sarah's house with her family, & having some great food. Well whatever you do this weekend, stamping or watching the football game...enjoy! Thanks for stopping by!
