Bridal Shower Pictures

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to share a few pictures of the bridal shower with you. We had so much fun & everything turned out so well, the girls did a fabulous job & the food was delicious! Sarah thought she was going to a birthday party for her nephew so she wore jeans, she had no clue....total surprise!!! I am so lucky & blessed that my son found such a wonderful girl to marry, Sarah & her family are so wonderful & fun to be with, Marc is one lucky & happy fella!!!

Best Buds!

Good morning everyone! This is going to be a short post today, I need to get ready to go out with hubby today. Just going to Newport to hang out & take a nice long walk on the beach as long as it doesn't rain. Oh well there's always window shopping with the tourists.

Anyway here is a card I made for Sergei, Elena's son for his birthday! Isn't this the cutest stamp? This is one of the High Hopes stamps that I waited sooooooooo long for & finally received. A cute little boy & his dog pal having fun fishing together on the pier on a beautiful summer day! Now that makes me yearn for summer....did anyone see summer yet, Oh yea that's right, it's right around the corner?! I can't wait!!! I first saw this stamp on Corie's blog & I knew I just had to have it but I didn't think it would take so long to get it, thank goodness I ordered a few different ones because I won't order from them again till they get a better system going. Now that's all in the past & I'm very happy with the quality of their stamps.

A Birthday Rose for You!

Hi everyone!

Well it's really lousy here today & will be like this all week...cold damp & rainy, yuck! Kind of a downer when you have weather like this but oh well such is life!

I made this card for my friend Elena for her birthday & since she received it already I can post it on my blog today. I'm glad to say that she loved it & I was so happy that I could put a smile on her face when she opened my package. Isn't that why we do this? Don't you feel so good when you know someone appreciates your work & the best reward you can get is to put a smile on some one's face? I love it!!!

I stamped the rose 3 times & colored half of each rose in different sections. Cut out the bottom rose whole then cut the middle section & placed on top of the whole rose with dimensionals, then cut the little top section of the rose & placed that on top of the middle one with dimensionals to make it 3D, added dazzling diamonds then
dimensionals to the back & placed it onto my embossed card added ribbon & a sentiment & was done...easy peasy! This was the second rose card that I made like this & I gotta tell you I just love how elegant this card is in real life!

Anniversary Card!

Hi Peeps!

How is everyone??? Hope your all doing great! I feel terrific, Jessica & I went shopping today so that I could get a new pair of shoes to go with my dress for the wedding & I am sooooo happy to say that I got a bargain!!! I KNOW I said that I would use the shoes that I bought for Jessica's wedding that I did not use 'cause well... I just had to get those other shoes that ended up giving me blisters the day of the wedding...those shoes sucked & were expensive too! Oh well! Anyway last week I saw some shoes that I loved & thought would go with my dress perfectly so I needed my daughters opinion & she wanted to go shopping today, so off we went & I got the pair that I first saw & Jessica agreed that they were perfect & when I got to the register I found out that they were on clearance....yippee!!!! That sure made my day I got a whopping $20. off!!! Jessica wasn't feeling good so she went home & I went to Kohl's & bought 2 blouses, buy one get one FREE!!! I was going there to buy a red blouse that I loved (I bought 2 other colors a few weeks ago & I just love the style) & low & behold if I bought one, I get one Free...how cool is that?! Now for all my friends out there who know me well, they know that if I like something, I just have to have all the colors, hehehe!!! Well that was my great bargain shopping day so yep I feel GREAT!!!

OK, on to my card. Here is the card that I made for my darling hubby for our anniversary! I just love how this card turned out & I had fun making it! I'm going out to lunch with my son tomorrow so I don't know if I will get to post tomorrow but I will try...I have so much I want to share with you.

Wow look what I got in the mail, so sorry it took so long to post this Teri! Teri sent this fantastic double shaker card & it's so awesome!!! I've been shaking it alot lately & driving my hubby crazy, hahaha!!! You did way too much girl but I appreciate it of course! Teri is the Queen of the double shaker cards so go take a look at her blog she has a great tutorial on how to make this card. Oh by the way I luv the SU embossing folder you gave me, it goes with the Fifth Avenue stamp set which is my favorite stamp set!!! Thanks my friend!

I also just got an RAK from Jana. I luv your card Jana, it's so darn cute & such wonderful goodies, I luv the stamp & the ribbon is gorgeous! I don't have any purple ribbon so it was a good choice, thank you so much my friend!
