Rubber Band Emboss Technique

Good mornin' Peeps!

I'm back & I hope to post a few times a week instead of everyday. This way it gives me time to create, blog surf & spend time with my hubby & do everyday chores.

Well my craft room is just about finished, I need my son to put up the gel bars I bought from IKEA & my ink shelf & I'll be all set. Once I figure out if the drawers I set up work with what I have inside & I'm comfortable with it as is or move things around again I will make the labels for each drawer & bin. I also have to stamp my inventory into my binders so it will be easy for me to look for a certain stamp or theme & know where it is instead of wasting time looking for something. It's NOT the room of my dreams but its a lot better than it was & looks pretty too. I will take some pictures for you to see. If I can figure out how to upload a video onto my blog I will make one for you so you can see how I organize everything.

I have been making cards & getting them ready to sell at my daughter's salon where she works so I have lots to show you. I bought a small spinning card wire rack to place on a counter or table at the salon & I hope to sell them so I can support my crafting addiction, hehehe!!!

I found two pictures in my old camera that I took before I re-organized my craft room, I guess I forgot all about them. I will show you one today & the other one next week. This one is a technique I got from a video over on Gina K's Stamp TV called rubber band embossing. Click HERE to see the video tutorial. I had the roller for the brayer already & it was easy & fun to create this unique background. My picture is not too clear, it's a little fuzzy (old camera) but once we get past this card & the next one (I will post it Monday) the pictures will be much clearer with my NEW camera (I LOVE it!).

Well thats it for today folks. Thanks for stopping by & I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Happy Mail

Hello Peeps!

My it's been a long time since I've posted on my blog...so sorry. I'm almost done with my craft room & spring cleaning upstairs. I can FINALLY see the end nearing to this organizing project. I will still have some stuff to do (like labeling everything & updating my inventory books) but that can come after the set up is finished. I can't wait to start crafting again, its been sooooo long that I hope I can find my mojo again. Anyway I have a few RAK's that I've received from friends to tie you over so here are a few photos. Enjoy & I will be back soon! Thanks for not abandoning me, I sure do hope you return again, I truly enjoy reading your comments & having you visit me.

So sorry Jen & Joy for posting this so late, please forgive me. I luv you guys, your the best! Thanks so much!

Happy Mail - Birthday RAK's

Trolley Chocolate Tour

I bought one of these special boxes for Jessica & me as a memento of our Chocolate tour in Boston. The size box I picked came with 4 chocolates, this was from Beacon Hill Chocolates on 91 Charles St. Boston.

My birthday gift from Jessica was a wonderful Trolley Chocolate tour in Boston, where I got to spend the whole day with her & we had so much fun.

from Gina Wrona...I'm going to smell so good!

from Jana with some gorgeous border stamps that I can't wait to use.

A beautiful Thank you RAK from Joy with some dyed bias ribbon. Joy you are an enabler...after seeing your beautiful dyed ribbon I just had to order some from SU.

from my good friend Sandi...I love her embroidered images, she does such an amazing job!

Thank you so much...I loved them all & truly appreciate each & every one of you!

I bought 2 of these boxes, Jessica got a different scene of Boston. This will be our little memento of our wonderful Boston Trolley Chocolate Tour.

Box with 4 chocolates inside....those chocolates were sooooooooooooo good!!!

I'm still working on my craft room & I can't wait to start creating again. I'm not so sure this was a good idea to take my room apart & re organize it, I feel so overwhelmed by it all. I didn't know how much stuff I had till I started to organize it. I'm about halfway through it all & I'm sure I will be re-arranging things for awhile till I get it to fit my needs. So stay tuned & I will post pictures when I'm done.

As always thanks so much for spending a little part of your day with me. Have a great weekend.
