Sea You!

Good mornin' Peeps!

Hope you all had a great weekend. I'm feeling so much better today, almost back to normal after my fall, still just a little sore but nothing compared to Saturday.

A lot of people got a lot of snow from that storm we had this weekend, my nephew in Southern New Hampshire got about 24 inches & they have no power, but at least they have a generator. They may not get power for a few days. I have never seen it snow before Halloween & I sure hope that doesn't mean that we are in for a really bad winter. We only got about an inch here in Southern Massachusetts & it melted after a few hours in the sun.

Well here is the last of the birthday cards (for now). What child would not love to get one of these cards? The stamps are from Snag'em Stamps by Imaginisce (clear $1.50 or $2. stamps from Michael's) & the wave die is from MFT called "Die-namics Catch a Wave" (love this die), I also used the SU scallop punch, nesties, an embossing folder & SU modern label punch. I had some awesome paper in my stash that looked like water waves (to me anyway) from Creative Memories & combined that with other DP to create both of these cards.

Happy stamping & I hope you all have a great day!

I love how this card turned out!

Make a Wish!

Hi peeps!

OMG, I am sooooo sore today. Our day did not start off well yesterday. Dan had cooked something to bring into work for a little going away party for one of the men & had it in a crock pot & was leaving when I heard him fall & when I went out there he had lost half of what was in the pot (thank goodness he made some extra for us, which went into the pot for work), so he filled the pot again. I gathered some bags so I could scoop it up & throw in the trash, but darling hubby didn't tell me it was icy on the patio & stairs (he was busy with filling the pot again)...Thank God we only have 3 stairs ( that's enough though to do some damage). I go out there yep...I fall down the stairs hard on my BUTT!!! Hit my head, back & elbow too! Come on, I hear you laughing!!! Well after the shock of it all & hubby cleaning it all out & me pouring hot water on it, to clean it all up...we could finally laugh about it. We had rain the night before with some cold temps so it froze overnight & created ice that you could not see, until it was too late. Now my Butt is black & blue (or should I say purple) & I am very, very, sore. I think after I post this I'm going to take a nice long hot shower & take some Alieve. I have a few errands to run before we get a storm that's heading our way. I don't think we will get hit hard here but North of us will. OK, enough of that & onto my card.

This was easy to make, it's one of those quilt patch cards made with the Top Note die from SU. The sentiment is from Gina K Designs. That's it, very simple.

Thanks for dropping by & I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! Now onto my soothing shower!

4 You

Happy hump day peeps!

Today's card is a child's birthday card using this adorable digital image called "Sweet Little Donkey" by Meljens Designs...I love this little guy & you will see lots of him in the future! This digital image is available for free with a purchase & you can get him by clicking here. This cute little guy was soooo much fun to color & I loved watching him come to life before my very eyes. Do you feel that way when you color some of your images or create punch art? I hope I'm not the only one who feels that way. Now, I know how cartoon artists & any creative person (for that matter) feels when they create a character, it's such a great feeling seeing it come to life! Leave me a comment & tell me about your experience.

Hope you enjoy today's post, thanks for stopping by!

Enjoy your day peeps!

Fun Playing in the Sand

Good mornin' peeps!

Thanks for joining me today; you know how much I love your company!

Today's card is a cute digital image that was free from Angelique's blog "Sliekje's digi stamps". Please keep in mind that if you use anyone's digi images to give credit to that artist, they work hard & they deserve to be recognized, thank you. This adorable little girl is playing in the sand & makes a really cute birthday card for a little girl...don't you think? I remember when Jessica was 2 & hated the sand...she would NOT put her feet down on it...soooo she would sit in her lounge chair with her little sun umbrella attached to it & watch everything that was happening around her all day & would be perfectly content doing so. I had people come up to us after a few hours & tell me how well behaved she was & loved watching her watch the people around her like a little diva....I told them that's because she hates the feel of the sand & not really happy with going into the water either. Well that all changed by the time she was 5 & started to build sand castles at the beach & finally loved it! She's still a Diva & I still LOVE her to death...Oh & she's still Daddy's little girl, has had him wrapped around her little finger for 31 years now & counting! Hahaha!!!

That's it for now, have a great day everyone!

Revised: All Aboard!!!

Hello Peeps!

I had this digital stamp on my PC for a very long time & finally got to use it recently & I think it's from "Wild Flower Patch Kids Digital Stamps". At least that's what it says in my notes that I use to identify my pictures & digis & I got it as a Freebie over at Papercraft Planet a long time ago (at least I think that's where it came from) but when I looked it up & used the web site I had in my notes it was not there, no longer available. So if anyone knows where this digi image came from & if you have a website that I can link it to please let me know, I would love to give credit where credit belongs. So sorry for not knowing for sure, but now I make sure I put details down & names when I get freebies & I'm much more organized than when I first started stamping. Thank you for any help you can give me.

PS: Revised: Here is the link to her blog & the post where you can get this digital stamp. It was created by Jennifer Schults...so click on her name to get this free digi & while your there please thank her for creating such an awesome image. Thanks to someone on SCS for giving me the link when I asked them to help me out.

I had some traveling designer paper in my stack & found the perfect paper to go with this cute image for a little boy's birthday card, I love it!!! Let me know what you think. Thanks for stopping by, I sure do appreciate it.

Have a great Wednesday!
