Happy Mail

Good morning peeps!

This is an early post today...I need to get ready to go out & spend the day with my hubby. He has a few days off & we're going to go spend the day at the Cape & enjoy this beautiful weather. I got some awesome happy mail & would love to share it with you today.

OMG....look what I won from Michele Boyer's blog! I couldn't believe I won this fabulous case...it's a lot bigger than I thought but I LOVE it! Thanks again Michele!


Looks like I need to buy lots more copic markers to fill this baby up! I have enough to fill maybe 2 or almost 3 of these baskets...better start making a list of the ones I want...there goes my wallet!


I put some of my markers inside one of the mesh baskets so you could see what it looks like. I love this case!!!



Birthday card from my best friend Sandi, she doesn't have a blog but she makes such beautiful cards. Her style is with a needle & thread. I always look forward to receiving a hand made card from you Sandi. Love you & can't wait for you to move back to our neck of the woods.

This is what I've been up to lately!

Well hello there peeps!

So sorry for not posting lately but I've been so busy making my niece Kim's wedding invitations. I won't be able to show them to you until after the wedding in September. I don't want to have her info of the wedding online & I don't know how to blurr out the wedding info on the pictures. All of the samples I made have some info on them too, so that has to wait to be posted also.

We booked a condo on Maui for the wedding FINALLY & I'm so excited....it's beautiful!!! Now we need to book our flight & car rental, hope to do that Friday. For my friends in Oahu...sorry but I won't be able to visit you this year, the cost to go over to your island on top of what we are already spending is more than we want to spend this time. Hopefully I can talk Dan into going to Oahu next year. That will take alot of talking & pleading but we shall see, if not we can always meet in Vegas. We are going to spend a few days in Vegas before flying to Maui & another few days there on the way back before flying back home.

My Awesome Good News!

Good mornin' Peeps!!!

Did you have a nice Easter? I sure did, I had my kids & sister over for Easter dinner & we had a fabulous time! Grab yourself a cup of joe, sit back & relax, it's going to be a long post today. I have so much to tell you!

First, I have such AWESOME & exciting news...for me at least! If you follow me on Facebook then you already know some of my news but I have more to share with all of you today. Well, the exciting news is that I'm finally going to be a grandma!!! We found out a few weeks ago that it's going to be.......wait for it.....A GIRL!!! Yippee, we are ALL so excited...here's a pic of my little granddaughter at 19 weeks:



I think she's going to be a gymnast, if this ultra sound is any indication, hehehe!!!
The first ultra sound pic Sarah sent me I just cried looking at it...they were tears of joy though & I couldn't stop looking at the picture for weeks & yep, I cried every time. Thanks so much for letting me share my exciting news with you today.

Now onto my creative part of this post & the reason you stopped by today.

A card I made for Sarah. This digital stamp is from Saturated Canary. Isn't this the cutest image for a mom to be? I love it & knew I had to get it for Sarah & she loved the pickle on top of all that ice cream! Love you to pieces Sarah & your going to be a great & loving mommy! She is going to be one lucky little girl to be loved by such awesome parents, grandparents & so many family members!!!

Here's the card I made for Marc. This Digital image is from Mo Manning, I fell in love with this image the minute I saw it & knew I wanted it for Marc, he's going to be an awesome daddy! Love you Marc!



Altered box I fixed up for a little baby gift I got Marc & Sarah, just a couple of bibs that say Grandma loves you & spoiled by grandma & a onesie I found that said Grandpa's little girl!

Jessica & Steve brought me a bunch of tulips, my favorite flower, & some awesome desserts, their so thoughtful & sweet! I love you guys soooooo much!!! Marc & Sarah brought some yummy desserts too, so we had a sugar high going on over at the Santos house but they were soooooo good!

Tri Fold Thank You

Good morning Peeps!

How are you all doing this fine cloudy Saturday morning? I know it's been awhile, almost a month since my last post...oh my, that's a long time. So sorry but I've been so busy lately & then I was in pain for 5 days after sitting on a metal chair at the polls for 8 hours at the beginning of March...this old body can't sit on those chairs. I'll make sure I bring a cushion with me Monday when I work the polls again & I think I'll bring a blanket to put on the back of the chair as well, I don't want to go through that again. I've also been working on wedding invitation samples for my niece Kim & now it's down to the final sample & tweaking that one for approval before I order all the supplies & get to work on making them. Their going to be gorgeous but simple! I've also started doing some Spring cleaning, that spring/summer weather we had last week put me in the mood to clean windows & put up curtains...so half of all my windows are done. They look sooooo clean, I love it!!!

I have some news & a pic to share with you soon & those of you who follow me on Facebook know what that is but have not seen the picture yet. Stay tuned for my awesome news!

Haircut anyone???

The owner Missy of the Revolutions Salon where Jessica works asked me to make her some plain cards using the 3 hair stylist related Bella stamps that I have & I was happy to oblige. I made 10 of these cards for her in different colors & styles. Here is one of the style cards that I made her. The other ones I made for her are in the last 2 posts.
