Your How Old???

Good mornin' peeps!

Hope you all had a fab weekend, it was a beauty wasn't it! Two gorgeous days here in New England.

Well, I have been a very busy crafter lately, I've taken the plunge & rented a table at our church (for the Saturday after Thanksgiving) for a craft fair their having...oh my gosh did I really do that you ask? Yep, I did! I surprised myself by taking this step. My very First craft fair and yes I'm nervous & busy making things. I'll try & post some of the things I will be making for this craft fair over the next few weeks & if your in the area I hope you'll drop by & give me some much needed support & luv...I'm going to need it!!! So mark your calendar for Saturday November 27 at St. Bernard's Church in Assonet Massachusetts, I hope to see you there.

Anyway on to today's card. I have a good friend who just turned (?) my age (if you can remember) & I needed to make her laugh so I sent her this card. She got a big kick out of it & called me the other day to say thanks...she loved it! Happy Birthday Donna!

I didn't put down any card details today because, frankly I don't always remember to write it down as I create them & then I have to go back upstairs to figure it all out when I post it. So here's the deal, do you want to see the card details in my posts or can you live without them? Leave me a comment & I will see what the majority of you think. Also in my lack of everyday posting as of late, I think I have lost some of my readers so I'm not sure who is looking anymore & if it's worth it. Makes me want to re-think blogging altogether...anyway, leave me a comment & give me your input, I really appreciate you all & I read every one of your comments. Thanks for dropping by today. Have a great day everyone!

Millie the Cat

Hi peeps!

Well here is the other card I made for Jessica. She has a black cat (now she has some brown copper patches on her fur) named Millie, she's so cute with an adorable face & she's the apple of Jessica's eyes. I thought it would be a great idea to make Millie a card to send to Jessica via the mail & I was so right! She loved it! This cat image is digital & I got it as a freebie from Sliekje Digital Stamps, she has lots of beautiful images & some freebies every week...go take a look, you just might find something you like! Have fun!!!

Thanks for stopping by & peeking, have a great day!

Under the Hood Bella

Hello peeps!

Before I get started I want to wish my daughter Jessica a VERY HAPPY 30th Birthday!!!
Love you sweetie!!! I know you celebrated all weekend with all kinds of parties & I know you had a blast! Sorry I lost the over the hill balloon we got you but at least it was the only one I let loose, hahaha!!! I forgot that they would fly out once I opened the car door...their FAST too when they sneak out. Have a fabulous day!

Here is the card I made for Jessica. I used colors for a color challenge but I was too late with my post for it to count. Oh well, no big deal, I didn't want to post it till today since its her birthday so that's why I'm late. Jessica is a hair stylist & when I saw all the stamps for hair stylists at Stamping Bella I knew I had to buy them. I try to fit the stamps for my family's jobs & activities whenever I spot something that would fit each one of them. Tomorrow I will post another card that I made for her but she has not received it yet & I don't want to spoil the surprise...she should get it in today's mail. Until tomorrow folks, thanks for dropping by...have a great day!

Altered Box for Baby Closet Divider Hangers

Hi peeps!

Well we got very lucky yesterday, Earl fizzled out & all we got was heavy rain here, what a blessing! I know I had promised to post this a few days ago but we were away & Internet service was very slow, I was having a hard time uploading my pictures & didn't have a lot of time to spend on it, so I decided to wait till I got home. We cut our mini trip short because of the hurricane & let me tell ya, driving home was no fun in that heavy rain. Sometimes it was coming down in sheets & you could barely see the car in front of you, it was crazy! I was hoping to get ahead of the storm but the rain would lighten up & you would think oh finally but here comes another heavy pocket of rain. It was finally a little better about 15 miles from home but we managed to get home safe & sound. Today it's a gorgeous sunny day & its a dry 80 degrees & breezy.

This box that I altered was in our hotel room last April at Palazzo/Venetian in Vegas with a sewing kit, shower cap, cotton swabs & nail file inside & they replaced it every day so I ended up with 4 of these heavy duty boxes. When I was making these dividers & cutting out extras for the future, I thought this box would be great to house my supplies...so I set out to alter it! Didn't it come out great? I love it!

These cute little ducks are from Spellbinders Nestabilities & are so adorable! I added feet & colored their beaks & eyes. Mama's feet I used 5 petal punch, baby feet I used boho blossoms punch. I also used sticker alphabets & DP that I had on hand and my template that you see in the next photo was cut from a tissue box.

Pull the ribbon to open the box & all my pieces are inside ready to stamp & put together for the next baby. My template & instructions are inside too! Isn't it so darn cute?

Thanks for stopping by & peaking today. Have a great holiday weekend!

Baby Closet Organizer Hangers

Hi Peeps!!!

Here is the baby project I made for Sarah's baby, Abigail. I had it laminated & had a hard time cutting it out because the nestie could not reach inside to cut because of the card stock which raised the nestie just high enough to not cut through, so the baby boy set I did not laminate & I like it better. No sharp edges to deal with either. Live & learn right? It was so much easier to cut through later, I cut one layer at a time (I had to do that with the other set as well but no laminate made it easier). Sarah loved it & thought it was a great gift idea. This way you can keep track of the sizes & use all the outfits before they outgrow them.

I came across this awhile back & saved it to one of my computer folders for a future project & low & behold I finally had someone to make this for as a gift. Click HERE to look at the link where I got the idea, her name is Bee Burg and she called them closet dividers...Awesome gift idea! Also click HERE to see more.

Tomorrow I will show you a box that I altered & designed to keep some of the extra pieces that I cut out for this project, this way they will be ready for me to make the next set of hangers whether it's a boy or a girl...I'll be ready! I hope you enjoyed today's project, let me know what you think!

This is the set I gave to Sarah, I had it laminated at Office Max.

This set is not laminated

Have a great day everyone & thanks for stopping by today!
