Ceramic Coasters

Good morning peeps!

I know it's been awhile since I posted but I've been very busy making things for the craft fair next month & I still have soooo much to do. If things work out I might do this more often. I'll get a feel for what sells & what doesn't so that next year I'll be more prepared but I'm really having fun creating all these things. So please bare with me. I do take a quick peek at all your blogs every day when I take my little breaks but I don't have a lot of time to comment often, I hope you don't mind. When things settle down after the craft fair I'll get back into my daily routine. I also have some news to share with you very soon...you know me I luv to tease you, it's so much fun!!! Hahaha!!!

I made some ceramic coasters & they were so much easier to make than I thought, I was amazed! Today's tiles are a different type & were the first ones that I bought...not happy with these but the second batch of tiles (I'll show those tomorrow) are sooooo much better & much easier to work with & to color. The Flower stamps I used are from Gina K Designs "A Year of Flowers".

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Tiles & Gift box idea came from a video tutorial from Gina K & Stamp TV Part 1. Look under Assorted Projects & click on these titles on the right of her Stamp TV sidebar:

Clear Box Gift Box- part 1
Clear Box Gift Box- part 2

Added glitter to this snowflake & I LUV it!!!

Had to stamp Cherish on the top of one coaster because of the bumps in the tile so one is different...oh well, trial & error. This was the second set that I made.

First set of coasters that I made - not happy with these, I used Bic markers to color these & the tiles are darker, I don't like them. All 3 of today's coasters were made from these tiles. Have to go back to Lowe's & Home Depot to find the lighter ones, those are much better I think. Will show you those tomorrow. I made the butterflies with those tiles.
