Sweet RAK & link to a Free stamp

Hi everyone,

This is going to be short, I've been feeling really sick this weekend. I don't know whats wrong, I'm hoping its a bug. I woke up to a spinning room which made my stomach turn & then tried to sleep it off in the afternoon, what a horrible feeling. Although I feel somewhat better today I'm still not myself.

Here is an RAK that I received from my good friend Gina Wrona this week. It's so darn cute! It's an envelope card, the top comes off & then I discovered M&M's inside, how clever is that! The little 3X3 card is so cute too! Thanks Gina you made my day. Sorry to say but Gina does not have a blog but trust me in saying that she is very talented. Check out my post below the pictures for a free stamp!

This is so cute! Thanks Gina!

Look what was inside, yummmmmm M&M's they were sooooo good!

Come Celebrate with a FREE stamp!

Hey peeps, how would you like a free stamp??? Just visit Sheila at her NEW blog & she will send you a free stamp if you send her your address. Take a look at her blog & see for yourself! I'm not kidding!

Pamper Yourself...you deserve it!!!

Hello everyone!

Well here is my last diorama card for awhile, don't be surprised if you see one pop up every now & then because I luv making these, I think their awesome!!! Anyway I made this one for a friend of mine who will be celebrating her birthday at the end of February & I wanted to make a special card, so I bought a bath ball & some other goodies so she could take a nice long relaxing bath. She sure could use it too, she's always on the go, I don't know how she does it. I think she's going to like this one!

Oh by the way I did get a phone call from Sarah (Jessica's best friend) after she opened the Ski Bunny diorama card that I sent her & she loved it!!!

Well I still need to catch up on cards & a few other things but I am getting there. I just need a good kick in the butt to get me motivated, hahaha!!! Do you get that way too at times? Well that's all for today, talk to you again soon. Have a great day & thanks for looking!!!

Just Buzzin' By...

Hi everyone!

Hope you all had a wonderful long weekend! We had a great time at MGM grand with Marc & Sarah Friday night. We went for dinner & then we went to the show to see comedian Frank Caliendo, oh my did we laugh, he's so good! He did his impressions & he really has George W Bush down so well, along with Madden, Clinton, Robin Williams & many, many others. We laughed so hard for almost 2 hours! After the show we played black jack for awhile & then Marc & Sarah went to the bar & listened to the DJ there & we met up with them later & then went home. Any time I get to spend with my kids I cherish because they are so busy with work & life that I never get to see them much anymore & I really miss them. So enjoy your kids while their home because they grow up way too fast! Here is a picture of all of us sitting in the bar area & listening to the DJ.

Now on to my card. Here is another diorama card that I made over the weekend with SU's Just Buzzin' By stamp set, I luv this set! Again this idea came from Diana Gibbs written tutorial & Dawn's video tutorial. I will have one more of these diorama cards for you tomorrow & then I'll move on to something else I promise!

Have a great day & thanks for stopping by today & spending some time with me, I truly appreciate your visits!

Diorama Card...Ski Bunny Hanna

Hi everyone!!!

Well as promised I was able to take pictures this morning & had time to post so here is my project. I luv it & I luv how it all turned out!!! Nothing like tooting your own horn hah? I had so much fun making this card & it was really easy! Now I got the written tutorial (click here) from Diana Gibbs about a week ago & put that aside on my craft table to do when I had time. Dawn ended up making a video tutorial yesterday on how to put one together & I needed a birthday card for Saturday so I had this idea in my head after viewing her video & it all came together! I made mine a little larger so that it would fit into a business size envelope, I didn't have any open ended envelopes (have to get some) & I also used nesties on mine instead of the circle punch. I luv, luv, luv it!!! It will be off to the post office later to mail this beauty & I know she's going to luv it, I'm sure that I'll be getting a phone call after she opens it!

Well Hubby & I along with Marc & Sarah will be going to MGM Grand in Connecticut tonight to see Frank Caliendo the comedian. Should be lots of fun!!!! Take care & have a great weekend! Be back on Monday!

Sorry for the quality of the pictures, I tried 3 times to get one good clear picture & for some reason just couldn't get one.

Easy Pleasy Thank you cards

Hello everyone!!!

I'm in a fabulous mood right now, I just finished a card that came out sooooo awesome & I can't wait to show it to you but you have to wait till tomorrow or Monday. It's kind of dark here right now & I can't take a picture sorry. We are going out tomorrow & I'm not sure what time we are leaving so if I can get the picture taken then I might be able to post it tomorrow. I sure hope I can take the pic because I need to get it off into the mail system tomorrow if I can because the young lady that I'm sending this to has her birthday on Valentine's day! I think she is going to love this card & she so appreciates my creations. Her & her hubby look forward to their birthday cards & that sure does make me feel good! So keep your fingers crossed that we have a sunny day tomorrow.

Now on to the cards for today. I was able to make a few of these cards & they were so easy that you could whip up a ton of these in a day. Easy, pleasy & fast!!! I made these awhile back but used a circle on those & today's cards are made using the Curly Label Punch, I punched out a label using scrap CS & I then used the negative to sponge ink into the curly punch shape then I stamped my image & sentiment & then sprinkled dazzling diamonds onto the image & I was done! Easy huh?

Well until tomorrow folks...have a great day!

Card details

Stamps: Pocket Silhouettes

Cute Little Plaque!

Just a quick post for now. Here is that plaque that I bought last week that I just had to have. I got it for $4., isn't that a find? I know it looks a little Christmasey (not a real word I know but that's how I describe it) but I luv the saying!!! Maybe I can change the ribbon or something...any ideas? It's only going in my craft room anyway for my pleasure! Isn't it so cute??? Well I'll be back later today with a card or two! Take care!

Purse Post-it Holder

Hi peeps!

Here is the project that I worked on last week, I love it!!! It's a purse post-it holder & yes I'm still on the purse & shoe kick, hehehe!!! This is the last one for now I promise. I came across this fantastic blog awhile back & saw Mary Beerman's video tutorial & knew I had to make one & I'll be making a few more later on. Go on over to Mary's blog My Stampin' Dreams & take a look at how easy this is to make & while your there take a look at her other creations, she's amazing! Thanks Mary for the inspiration!

Well I've been working on a card for a few days now & it's not coming out the way I hoped so I might just chuck the idea of paper piecing this image...too much of a tight image to cut out for that so I think I will just color it later on. Don't you hate when that happens? I am so far behind & need to catch up on thank you, baby & birthday cards. Please forgive me, I will get caught up eventually! This is not like me if anything I'm always early & well organized on everything...ask my kids they know me! I still have stamps that I bought before Christmas that I have not cut yet, Yikes I need to get my butt moving but this is the time of year I am itching for Spring to arrive & get lazy but we still have a long way to go (at least a month & a half) for that to happen! Well that's all for today I'll be back tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by & listening to my ramblings! Keep on stampin'!

Purses and Shoes...Oh my!!! Part 1

Hello everyone!

Hope you all had a productive & fun weekend! Look what I did all weekend, I was surrounded by shoes & purses!!! I made 12 of these babies, 4 each for me, Jessica & Sarah, I need to fill their card tins with cards 'cause I didn't have time to do it before I gave them their Christmas present so now I need to pay the piper!!! Every time I make a card for me I have to make 2 more for the girls. I had so much fun making these this weekend. I used my Bic Mark-it markers to color most of them & I luv the vibrant color of these markers & they were so easy to do. I have 10 pictures so I decided to post them in two parts, the rest of the cards will be posted tomorrow. I hope you like them as much as I do.

By the way I came across a plaque last week that I just had to buy for my craft room (it was on sale too) that says "Every time a bell rings a woman just bought some shoes" or something like that, I have to take a picture of it & post it. Maybe tomorrow. Have a great day & thanks so much for stopping by!
