Today's cards were made for my son's birthday which is this Monday & let me tell you I had so much fun making these & they are really simple to make! I saw this card on Melanie's blog & thought that this would be a great card for Marc since he loves Oreos! When he was in elementary school I always had some Oreos & milk waiting for him when he got home & we would sit at the kitchen table & talk about his day at school. Wow that brings back so many wonderful memories & conversations! When he got older he would finish his snack & start on his homework while I prepared dinner. He still loves his Oreos till this day...really who doesn't!? So thanks so much Mel for this wonderful idea!!! I think you all need to check out Mel's blog, you will be amazed at her talent & she has her own line of stamps at Gina K Designs. I only wish I would have bought her "Have a cookie" stamp set to stamp inside the card...oh well next order (in a few months), I have to be good!

Card #2 This is the Twist open cookie card...I luv it!!!
Twist open like you do with a real Oreo cookie to get at the cream part! The brad holds the card together so you can twist it open...how neat is that???
