Top Note Place Cards/Candy Boxes

Hi Everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I had Marc's in-laws Caroline & Stan here this year for Thanksgiving dinner & we all had a wonderful time. My son-in-law Steve was sick at home so he couldn't make it but we sent Jessica home with a nice plate of food for whenever he could eat it. Dan had been sick for 2 weeks trying to shake a cold & of course I came down with it on Sunday & fought through it while preparing for Thursday's festivities (cleaning house, cooking my famous stuffing, etc) but by Thursday evening I had lost my voice & my cold was taking effect with a vengeance. I got up early to go shopping with Jessica & Sarah but by 10 am I had had enough & wanted to come home. I slept on the couch for most of the day & night. I still have no voice & it seems to get worse at night. It's not the flu (Swine or otherwise) thank God but it sure does take a lot out of you whatever it is, hope it goes away soon, I hate to be sick!

Well here are the Top Note boxes I put on every ones plate with some candy inside, I put names on them so they all knew where they were sitting. They looked so cute waiting for our guests & everyone loved them! As you can tell by now I love making these boxes, so look out for the Christmas ones coming soon! You can find the tutorials for these on Tammy's blog but watch out their addictive!!!

Have a great day & thanks for stopping by today!

Back of the Male Pilgrim

Back of the Turkey. There was no version of the female Pilgrim so I made my own, using a Pilgrim female I had made years ago for scrapbooking with Creative Memories. It's not that great but it's not that bad either. If you come up with a good one I would luv to see it so drop me a comment with a link to your female Pilgrim.

A New Golfer is Born...Ya Think?

Hello Peeps!

First of all I want to wish my son-in-law Steve a Happy Birthday, today is his birthday! Happy Birthday kiddo...hope you have a great day!!!

I wanted to share the card I made for Steve last week. He played golf in the wedding tournament that Marc & Sarah had the day after the wedding & I think he liked it! So maybe we have another golfer in the family, ya think? If he starts buying golf equipment this Spring then we will know for sure.

Well I'm finally joining in on the Copic bandwagon...why did I wait sooooo long??? OMG I bought a few for skin tones & fell in love with these babies! I went to my FAV store BELLA ART (in Johnston, R.I.) last week to get some Gold CS that I needed for my nieces wedding program folders & bought a few more markers & then I went to the Croptopia in Newport on Friday night (just to shop not to crop) & bought more from Bella Art & another booth that was selling them too & I am so hooked that I want them all!!! I guess I have to settle on buying a few at a time every now & then. Are you like me, when you want something you just have to have it NOW? It's sooo hard to have to buy this way but my budget won't allow me to do it any other way :o( I also finally found some Polar White Flower Soft & some of the Basic Grey paper pads I was looking for, so I'm happy I stopped by to shop & hubby was so nice to give me more money to shop, he's such a peach...LOVE ya honey!!!

Well that's it for today so thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Future golfer?...we'll see!!!

Note Pad with Pocket

Hi everyone!

Today I have a cute little note pad I made for my friend Tammi a few weeks ago. I have links at the end of today's post for the template & tutorial. I saw this on Nicole's blog from PTI last month & knew I wanted to make some of these for gifts. I had some short notepads that I bought at Office Max this past summer & I had them cut them in three's for me. I had plans on making all different kinds of notepads but when I saw this one on Nicole's blog I fell in love with this style & it was really easy to make...so give it a try! I plan on getting the PTI Take Note stamp set
so I can make a bunch of different notepads...the possibilities look endless! I luv how this turned out! Let me know what you think.

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Age is only a number...right???

Good morning, it looks like a beautiful day out there, Dan & I are going out for the day to run some errands & then have some fun! Get out there & enjoy this beautiful weather before it gets into the Winter mode.

Well today I have a cute little funny card that I made for my sister a few weeks ago, I luv this little guy! Isn't he cute??? Well my sister spent her birthday in Vegas again this year but sadly we could not go (bummer) she went two weeks after the wedding & well we just couldn't manage the cost this time. We will be going to San Diego in April for my niece's wedding (her daughter) & then maybe Vegas! I'm going to be making the wedding program folders for her wedding (I only have to make 35-40 this time), she loved the ones I made for Marc & hinted if I would do hers & I agreed only because I wouldn't have to make too many this time.

Well I need to go take a shower & get ready so have a great day & enjoy the weather!

Sitting Pretty!!!

Hello Peeps!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Here is a card I made a few weeks ago for a friend. I used the new Spellbinders Eyelet Pendant die...how do you like it? It was a little hard getting it out of the die because of all the cuts but I finally got the hang of it & so now it's a little easier. I'm not real happy with this card, now that I look at it I think I need to add more layers & do something different with that left bottom corner...oh well, next time! My friend liked it so that's what counts right?

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Happy Mail

Good morning all!

Hope you all changed your clocks back this morning! Well we did not even have 1 goblin or monster last night...such has been the trend for the last few years but ya never know, every once in awhile we get a handful! Times have changed & I can't say what I would do if my kids were still small, just go to the people that I know & trust I guess! Well I guess Dan & I will be eating candy all next week, hehehe!!! That's why we buy candy we like...don't you?

Anyway...here are two great cards I received from two fabulous crafters that I'm lucky enough to call my friends! Thanks so much Risa & Jana, you really lifted my spirits when I was feeling down, that's the POWER of happy mail! Head on over to their blogs & see what they have been up too & be prepared to be amazed by their creations!

Have a great day & thanks for stopping by today!
