Post-it Notes

Good morning peeps!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with family & friends, I know we sure did!

I had an order from one of my daughters clients, she asked me to make her a few post-it note holders to give to her nieces a few days before Christmas & she wanted a wine glass or something like that on it...so I came up with these two images & I didn't know what color she wanted so I gave her 3 different colors & 2 different glass drinks to choose from & she loved them! Another client bought 1 of the ones that was leftover, so I think I have 2 left for my stash (I'll find out about that when I go to the salon). I have to say I did very well selling my creations at the salon & I need to thank Missy (salon owner) for letting me & other vendors sell our wares there...Thank you so much Missy, I appreciate it so very much!

I put some crystal effects on it so it would look more like a glass. I love that stuff!

Thanks for joining me today; you know how much I love your company!

Christmas Cards 2011 Part 2

Hello peeps!

Well here are the last of this years Christmas cards. I wish I would have started earlier so that I could have used some of the stamps that I've had for 2 years & have not inked up yet. I'm making myself a promise to start my Christmas cards in June & make at least 10 a month, maybe this way I'll get to use them all up on cards for 2012...what do ya think? Is that a good plan or what? Now if I can really do it then I'll amaze myself, hehehe!!!

Thanks for taking a few minutes out of your busy day to come & visit me today, I sure do appreciate it!

One of my favorite Christmas cards that I made this year! It's a new Whimsy Stamp that I fell in love with this year & just had to have it! This card came out great...it's so pretty, if I do say so myself!

This little fella is a Whipper Snapper Stamp & he's one of my favorites!!! Snowmen & penguins are my favorite winter stamps...their too stinkin' cute, I'm obsessed!!!

I needed to come up with an idea to put lottery tickets in, (instead of those envelopes that you get from the lottery) so I came up with this idea. I should have put the DSP on the inside before I adhered the pocket, oh well, next year. I like how it turned out though. I saw Dawn's video for the Santa & used that for the front...he's so cute & I love his pom-pom!!! Dan loves getting scratch off tickets in his stocking every year, so I hope he enjoys my presentation! He'll be more interested in scratching than looking at the card...but I know he will comment & appreciate the card!

inside...I sure hope he wins something! He loves getting these in his stocking!

Favors for my guests who come to visit us this year. Got the idea to put them all in a basket from my good friend Sally (thanks for the idea Sally)otherwise I would have just made the ones for my family & put them on each place setting...but this is sooo much prettier!

The men are getting the snowman with the Patriot's hat for their favorite football team!

Have a fabulous Christmas everyone! Take it ALL in & enjoy your families & friends this holiday season! I love you all...Merry Christmas!!! See you again sometime next week.

Christmas Cards 2011 Part 1

Hi Peeps!

Sorry I haven't been around for awhile but oh my, I have been soooo darn busy. I've been out & about so much & this week is crunch time for me. I needed to get going on my Christmas cards & get them in the mail this week or I was going to be dead meat. I also got all my gift wrapping done too this week...so now I NEED to get my house cleaned by Saturday morning, so everything can be nice & fresh smelling! I have a few cards to share with you today & then more tomorrow before I take a blogging break for a few days. I hope you enjoy today's post & I will see you again tomorrow!

I just LOVE these Elf Shoes....their just too stinkin' cute!!! I've been seeing so many of these around the blogs lately & just had to get on the bandwagon & make some! I found a video tutorial by Frenchie here and here. Oh my gosh...once you start you want to make a bunch & that's what I did & they are so easy to make & sooooo much fun too!!!

Love the color & design of this card. This idea is from Renee, she is such a gifted crafter with so many beautiful cards for inspiration...go on over there & take a look for yourself!

I really love the sparkle on this one...similar to the one below but with a little more detail. I cased these 2 cards completely from Dawn Olchefske...she's another amazing crafter.

Clean & simple - It's crunch time for me & I need some clean & simple cards to get into the mail ASAP...I just mailed the last of my Christmas cards out yesterday, whew...I've never been this late EVER! Sure glad that task is over with. I love how this one turned out.

Thanks for dropping by...have a great day!

Fancy Fold Christmas Card

Good morning peeps!

Well, my plan for today is to put up the Christmas tree, I sure hope I can stay on track with that this afternoon. Then I hope to clean up the mess it causes when we do that because I have a friend coming over tomorrow & we plan on stamping. I hope to sew some fleece to make more Hershey candy bar snowmen for Christmas favors for my house. I also need to work on Christmas cards, I'm soooo late with that this year...I can't believe it! Whew...I'm tired already just writing about all the stuff I need to do today!

Talking about Christmas cards, here's my first two cards of the season...I love it! I got the idea from Dawn's blog (as usual, thanks Dawn), click on her name to go to the video tutorial if you want to make one. Well, I gotta go put up the tree.
Thanks for stopping by, I sure do appreciate it!

Christmas Present Surprise!

Good mornin' peeps!

It's a lousy, dark & cloudy day here, it's supposed to rain for the next few days & maybe snow on Thursday, ugh...hate that word usually, but I love snow for Christmas.

I'm almost done with Christmas shopping, I just need to get 1 more gift (which will be next week) & I'm DONE!!! I'm early this year, I haven't done that in years, (I used to have it all done by the weekend after Thanksgiving)but my card making is sooooo late this year, not sure when I can get that done. I hope to get my tree & decorations up this weekend so maybe I can get to card making sometime next week. My wreath is up on my front door, hahaha!!! Remembered to take the scarecrow off my door yesterday & put up the Christmas wreath...that's a beginning, right?

My card today is a gift card holder that I saw on Frenchie's blog & I knew I had to make some for the Vendor Fair...I love it!!! Open it up & Surprise...you have a gift card inside!!! Just like opening up a real present to find something wonderful inside! What do you think? Come on, I know you want to make some too...go on over to Frenchie's blog & watch the video & make some to give to your family & friends. Send me a link & let me see what you made, I'd love to see them. Thank you so much for dropping by, you know how much I appreciate your visits. Happy stamping peeps!

Surprise!!!

Here's a picture of my table from the Vendor Fair last week, it's a little blurry I know but it's the only picture I have that was good enough to post, sorry.

Have a great day!

Coffee anyone???

Good mornin' peeps!

Wow, I went to an awesome comedy club show last night with hubby, met up with one of my former co-workers & had a blast! It was soooo funny!!! Thanks Vanessa for the free tickets & Celeste, you always make me laugh whenever I'm with you.

Ok, now onto my card...isn't this so darn cute? I love it, I found this idea on Lorri's blog & she has a fantastic video tutorial on how to make this cute gift card holder. What a cute way to give a coffee gift card, hah? Reminds me of my favorite coffee...Starbucks! I love getting Starbucks gift cards...another hint for my family & friends, yep, that's right...I'm NOT shy!

The Vendor Fair went well & I'm sharing a few pics below. Thanks for stopping by & have a great Sunday!

Snowman Hershey Bar Wrappers

Hi everyone!

Here are some snowmen Hershey bar wrappers....aren't they so darn cute? I made these for the vendor fair & I love these little guys! Wouldn't you love to have one of these in your stocking, I know I would...I'm still a kid at heart!

This is not my idea, I saw the video tutorial created by Kerry here, so click on her name to see the video & get the wrapper digi from Laurie Furnell's blog...have fun creating these adorable snowmen.

I'm off to clean up my craft room (finally) since my guys made a mess on Thanksgiving day putting up rods & stuff on my wall. I need to finish up some gift card holders that I'm making for the vendor fair & don't have much time left, so I need to get off my butt!

Talk to you again tomorrow, thanks for stopping by & visiting me. Have a great day!

click on the picture once or twice, if you want a closer look.
