Embossed Christmas Cards

Hi everyone!

Sorry I haven't been posting much lately but ya know life happens & I've been going out a lot. I did manage to play with these embossing folders the other day, I wanted to try a few things...some worked, some didn't, you know how that works! I used rubbing paste on the first card & I'm not really happy with that look, let me know what you think good or bad, it's OK if you don't like it! The second one I put pixie pink ink on the folder around the tree so the tree would stay white, I do like this one better than the first one but I'm still not too sure about it. Would I make more cards like this....I don't know. What are you all doing with these embossing folders? I would like to see some cards done with this folder & the winter scene folder also. I played with the winter scene also, I tried the bleach technique & the aqua painter, not quite sure if I like it but it doesn't look too bad, I will post that one tomorrow.

Well I need to get ready to go shopping, I need a few more things for that diaper cake that I'm making, I should have read the instructions first because we ended up buying diapers with print on it & was supposed to buy plain white ones...when did ALL MOST all diapers get fancy print on them? I'm out of touch with this stuff & boy did everything get way out of line on prices for baby items...it's crazy!!! I'm still going to use these diapers, I just hope it's going to look good once I decorate it. I will take a picture of it & all the other baby projects that I'm making. Take care everyone & have a great day! Thank you so much for taking some time to visit little old me!!! I really appreciate all your visits & comments & yes I do enjoy reading them. Make sure you smile & maybe even hug someone today...you might just make their day!!!

I like both of your cards Rita but I love the one that you did in blue. That is more my style. :) I did not buy this folder because I knew that I would not use it. As for my other folders well they are all sitting around waiting to be used.

Yes! Baby items certainly have gone up. It is crazy. I can hardly wait to see how you make a baby diaper make. :)
